Siroma Villa

Siroma Villa is stunning and we enjoyed staying in our comfortable room with outside area. There is not too much to do in Bentota (which is why we came, to relax) so you can barely get a tuktuk but the owner often gave us rides for a fair price. Everything was clean and comfortable.

Breakfast was very plain, especially for these prices, and the most basic we have gotten in a whole month in Sri Lanka. The host never smiled and didn't really seem to enjoy his work, which made us feel a bit uncomfortable. Laundry was returned to us late and very wet so we had to hang everything out in random places in our room with the Aircon on max in order for everything to dry on time the evening before leaving. Resultingly, we were forced to pack our stuff in the morning, which I really don't like.

Property was clean and a short walk/tuk into town for food places. Hosts were friendly and welcoming. Good air con.

Everything about Siroma Villa exceeded our expectations. The villa itself, our spacious room with a balcony, the beautiful garden with the swimming pool, the attentive hosts and good breakfasts - especially the special Sri Lankan breakfast! We really loved the peace and quiet, watching the kingfishers and chipmunks. It is the best place for recharging your batteries! There was a very good restaurant called Olives within walking distance and other restaurants near the beach, only a tuktuk ride away. We hope to go back one day.

Das Frühstück orientierte sich nach unseren Wünschen, es gab z.B.frischen Saft unserer Wahl Es wurde sich sehr gut um uns gekümmert, vor allem, als ich gestürzt bin. Medikamente, Eis zur Kühlung der Wunden.. Großartig und nicht selbstverständlich!

C'est une maison au calme. Les hôtes sont un frère et une sœur qui sont aux petits soins pour les voyageurs. Disponibles pour vous emmenez en tuk tuk à la plage, organiser un safari en bateau, ou autre activité. Il y a une belle piscine très peu fréquentée.

Pas de restauration le soir.

There were a few restaurants around the property within walking distance, unfortunately the main one was closed for some reason - Manjula was happy to run us around in his tuktuk but it was a good walk to most places without his help.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful villa. Our room was spacious, very well equipped, and featured a lovely hot shower. Everything was spotlessly clean, and it was clear the family who owns the property takes great pride in maintaining it to a high standard. The swimming pool was fantastic and set within a peaceful, well-kept garden, creating a truly relaxing atmosphere. We especially appreciated the quiet setting, which made it easy to unwind. The owner was incredibly kind and even provided transport to the beach and nearby restaurants, which made our stay even more convenient. Breakfast each morning was excellent, and overall we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We would happily return and highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for a comfortable and tranquil getaway.
