We absolutely loved Roberto’s place! From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with such warmth and kindness. Roberto is incredibly friendly and made us feel at home straight away. It was our first time in Sicily, and after going back and forth trying to decide where to stay, we were so grateful to have landed here. The villa has a slightly rustic edge, but that’s exactly what gives it its charm… It feels wonderfully authentic. The view is absolutely spectacular, and the location couldn’t be better. It’s just a short drive into town, and we even walked to Cefalù and Kalura Beach a few times. We kept joking that we were on the better side of the mountain, overlooking the sea and some of the area’s prettiest hotels. We loved spending time by the pool and were also visited by two cats who’ve. We named them Sicy and Marmalade! We even bought them food (which of course wasn’t expected), but if you stay here, please do the same, they’re part of the magic. Most evenings, we cooked and ate outside, watching the sun set and the moon rise over the coastline. It truly felt like la dolce vita simply beautiful, and unforgettable. Grazie mille, Roberto! we can’t wait to come back! 🌅🐾✨

The breakfast pack was extensive and adequate and satisfying. Very welcome.

Without being over critical I suppose the drive to the villa could do with a little clearing of debris (stones) on the bend. The wooden stairs to the bedrooms landing do need risers fitting to increase confidence. Otherwise nothing more.

L’accueil de Roberto, la localisation de la maison et tous les équipements et attentions mise à notre disposition. C’était tout simplement parfait !

Kleines feines Haus in Traumlage hoch über dem Meer etwas außerhalb von Cefalu mit Infinitypool und viel Platz auf dem Grundstück; der Sonnenaufgang jeden Morgen, den wir vom Bett aus sehen konnten, war traumhaft. Roberto ist ein fürsorglicher Gastgeber mit dem Blick für kleine Details, die den Aufenthalt sehr angenehm machen (Ladekabel, Regenschirme, Stirnlampe, ...) ; auch ein großes Welcomepackage war vorhanden sowie div. kulinarische Grundausstattung. Die wilden Katzen, die zu Besuch kamen (und für die auch Futter bereitgestellt wurde), waren entzückend!

Cefalu ist zwar nicht sehr weit entfernt (ca 1km), aber es ist tatsächlich nicht möglich, das Anwesen zu Fuß zu verlassen - die Straße ist eng und gut befahren und für Fußgänger äußerst unangenehm und gefährlich! Das bedeutete, dass wir für jeden noch so kleinen Weg das Auto nehmen mussten, was bei dem Dauerstau und Parkplatzmangel in Cefalu sehr stressig war! Wahrscheinlich ist das jedoch in der Vor- und Nachsaison anders!

La vue sur la mer est exceptionnelle !! C’est un endroit très agréable et Roberto est disponible , gentil et drôle.

Tout est parfait mais s’il faut noter quelque chose , les escaliers de la maison sont raides.

The location

Cleanliness in kitchen and utensils. Cobwebs. Only one towel provided for the week for both pool and shower. Bathroom not clean and no toiletries provided. Decomposing fruit and food in the fridge on arrival. Stairladder is unsuitable for mature adults.

The indoor stairs were steep and need a handrail. Garbage disposal.

Everything about this property is wonderful. The location, the layout, the architecture, the pool area is incredible. Completely unique and worth every hour we spent in it. The view from the pool are beautiful.
