The Fisherman's Villas

The private Villa and views are amazing, the infinity pool - breath taking. I also liked the design and deco. The Villa had everything we needed and I particularly liked how the fridge was stocked up, and that an array of menus are available for you to order food to be delivered. Tom the hostess with the mostest made our stay very comfortable and memorable! Anything we needed, I’d text him and he helped us, including my favourite day out on private speedboat around Koh Tao snorkeling, highly recommend this! A trip I will never forget, thank you Tom!!

The property has amazing views across the bay. It’s clean and comfortable and the staff are super friendly and helpful. They were happy to organise our trips around the island, snorkelling and scuba diving, and cleaned the room every day.

It is at the end of a long steep windy road that felt too treacherous for mopeds so we had to add the cost of taxis every time we went into town (400 baht each way).

Everything was very easy from booking a taxi and hiring snorkel gear. The staff were extremely helpful.

Taxi very expensive and the road was very tricky so did not feel confident to hire a motorbike although this is possible.

Beautiful view! Great to have a little kitchen at our disposal for when we wanted to make breakfast. Was high up on the hill however and the roads are very steep and bumpy to get to it but all in all great. Plus staff and ownership were helpful to help us book taxis and rent a motor bike.

Bed wasn’t the best. We both woke up with back pain. Also only had a sheet. We understand due to the weather there is no need for a blanket but wouldn’t hurt to make it a real bed with a comforter and let the renter decide whether to use just a sheet or now. At night with the AC making the villa cold would have been nice to have a little blanket - nothing crazy.

The view of the property is spectacular. The owner was very prompt with all whatsapp replies and was helpful. The pickup and drop to the pier was also very comfortable. The pool is of a decent size and the rooms are comfortable. The spaces are beautifully designed.

The Living area did not have an Air Conditioner and hence made it difficult for everyone to sit or use the space.So a rooms had to be used for the whole group to sit together. Even the common spaces outdoor did not have any provision of a Fan and with temperatures so high , it becomes very hot and humid. The cost of taxi to access the main restaurant areas or even supermarket is very high. Some kind of shuttle atleast once a day should be an option.

This is the most beautiful villa in a unique spot. Every spot from the villa has the most crazy views and the sunsets makes you never wanting to go home. We loved our time here and definetely coming back!

We had a great stay in the Fishermans House. The location is about a 15 minute ride from the main part of the Island (Sairee) so perfect for couples/families looking to relax with the option to travel to Sairee if needed. The view from The Fishermans Villa was unreal, and from the looks of the locations of the other villas, all views available are equally as amazing. The kitchen is fully equipped including a blender & espresso machine, a very swanky fridge/freezer, oils, tea, coffees, snacks etc... the mini bar is the best we've seen in a long while and fairly priced. The lady checking us in was absolutely lovely and spoke very good English. She was always smiling and nothing seemed too much hassle. Every time we drove past her she would give us a lovely smile. We didn't see too many other staff, but anyone whom we did see/speak to were lovely. Tom is a great host, easy to chat to but also leaves you to your own devices if wanted. He offers an array of activities should you want to explore the island. The decor in the villa was very fitting and beautifully thought out. We absolutely loved our stay & are very much looking forward to returning. Thanks guys! Poppy & Jordan x
