Ligaria Mare

We had an amazing stay at Ligaria Mare Sea villa as a family of 5. The house is even nicer than in the photos with great amenities, decoration and everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible including very high end toiletries. The views from the house, particularly the master bedroom and terrace/living room are simply breathtaking. Stella was an incredibly attentive and generous host - welcoming us in person on our first day, giving us amazing recommendations on what to do / where to go / where to eat / shop throughout our stay AND leaving us kind and thoughtful gifts during our stay. She always went the extra mile and really made our stay even more special. Our one regret is that we could not stay longer to enjoy the house, the pool and the neighborhood.

Our stay at the property was pure luxury. We received 5-star treatment not only through the top-notch facilities but also thanks to the exceptional support from Stella, who spoiled us with local delicacies and provided valuable insights about the area. Christine ensured every detail was perfect, making our experience truly unforgettable.

Everything about the villa was amazing. Stella, the owner, was fantastic. She was so easy to communicate with and brought us everything we needed. There was lots of space inside and out, and it was the most comfortable stay I had throughout my travels in Greece - it was like I was sleeping in my own bed! The pool was great for relaxing while taking in the views.

It is a little far from everything, so you need a car. This wasn’t an issue for us, as we did our research before booking and knew what to expect.

Stella met us upon arrival. Definitely a tricky drive with traffic on narrow hilly drives with a standard vehicle but we were up to the adventure! Spectacular property, secure, a true gem hidden on the mountain side overlooking the Sea of Crete. Delicious fruit, pastries, jams and coffee awaited us. Stella met us at the villa, gave us a tour, told us where to go! Made us feel like family. We look forward to returning next season!

Beautiful location with an amazing view. Stella has been a very attentive, generous and uncomplicated hostess who gave great tips and always brought culinary treats without being intrusive. The location is very near to nice little beaches and good restaurants.

The only thing we missed in Villa Earth was an outdoor table where five people could eat. But everything else was so beautiful and perfect that we would go back there anytime.

This stay was amazing with a fantastic view from pretty much every room, very tidy accommodation. We arrived to a fridge with essentials and wine so we didn't have to get breakfast. Fantastic host, very helpful, recommended where to visit. The pool can be heated and was great fun for us and the kids. Everything looked very new and was definetely decorated with style. Overall definetely worth a stay.

We booked two villas for one week holiday with my family. The villas are perfect; very clean with high end quality. The location and the views are amazing. It was very peaceful there, but yet easy access to beautiful beaches and Iraklion by car. There are many good restaurants at the beach area. Our host Stella was very helpful and it was so nice to get to know her. We can warmly recommend the villas and are sure we are also coming back there.

Everything was very clean, the hosts were amazing and all in all it was a great trip!
