Ligaria Mare

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The villa was beyond exceptional, the view stunning and Stella was very helpful. From the moment we entered the house we knew we wouldn't like to leave. The advice, recomendations & directions were spoton. The attention to detail were of the highest quality from the decore to the linens and the private pool. We are really looking forward to visit the place again! Absolutely recommended.

I was there for a couple of days, but I'm definitely going back next summer for more!  The villa is brand new, luxurious, very spacious, with amazing decoration, and very clean. Such a beautiful house! The view is breathtaking. Especially from the master bedroom with the huge window to the sea! You can't have enough of that view! Luxury amenities, linens, and all the equipment to prepare a meal. The outdoor area is superb and the private heated pool a bonus! Stella, the hostess, was super friendly, made my arrival very easy and answered all my questions about transfer, restaurants, etc (thank you Stella!!). The location is very nice, with restaurants and beach nearby. In a few words, the villa is highly recommended for amazing vacations!!

Wonderful views and fantastic pool! The villa is well equipped for self-catering. The local restaurants are fantastic, although it's worth attending in season for Sorrocios!

It is an uphill walk from the local beach to the villa.

Stella was an excellent host. We arrived late in the evening and she was happy to accommodate our late check-in as she lived in the villa next door. She had plenty of amazing recommendations for restaurants, beaches, food options, etc. She was great to talk with and provided such a personal touch during our stay. The property looks even more spectacular in person than in the photos. It is so well designed, built, and furnished that it felt even better than most luxury 5-star hotels. You can tell that the owners really put their hearts into the design, material, and details of the villa to make it convenient, thoughtful, modern, and tasteful. The amenities like the private pool had a stunning view of the sunset and was such a treat to lounge around in the pool floats and chairs. Everything in the villa was top of the line, state of the art, and extremely high tech. The master bedroom had automatic blinds which we opened up to see the sunrise without even getting out of bed. It was also equipped with its own private balcony/smoking room which had an automatic window that is remote controlled. The washer and dryer were very useful and definitely came in handy during our stay. The kitchen was well stocked with water, fruits, coffee, and other breakfast items. There were plenty of towels, blankets, robes, etc. for our use. The toiletry products were outstanding and felt like such a luxury to use and the pleasant scent filled the house nicely. The location was ideal as it was only 20 mins from the airport and within driving distance to major attractions and beaches in Crete. Not to mention, it was minutes away from wonderful restaurants at Mades beach. Overall, I would go back to visit Crete just to spend more time relaxing in this villa, it was truly one of the best villas we've ever experienced.

I only wish I had more time to fully enjoy and relax at the villa!

A beautiful modern villa situated 8 mins walk from the beach. Stella, the owner, was fantastic throughout our stay. On arrival, our fridge was stocked with fruit, water, wine and beer !!! Stella kindly took us and collected us from the beach and was extremely helpful throughout our stay. Even dropped us off a delicious chocolate cake during our stay. The view from the villa is great, swimming pool warm and clean, tv's have netflix for the kids at night. There's not really much more one could ask for. I would have no hesitation in recommending Villa Ligaria Mare

The house exceeded our expectations - it's brand new construction, really beautifully designed, and just high quality throughout. The owner (Stella) was super-attentive to making sure we were all set for our stay, and gave many helpful suggestions & recommendations on where to go. If we come back to Crete, we'd love to stay here again!

We stayed at Ligaria Mare for 7 days. We used it as a home base for our company retreat — working from the villas in the morning, walking to the beach for lunch, and relaxing by the pool in the afternoon. The villas were clean, comfortable, and modern. The Wi-Fi easily accommodated our entire team. The sea views were gorgeous and made for a great backdrop during our company dinners. Finally, a special shout out Stella! She was an outstanding host. She had great recommendations for local restaurants, helped us coordinate some of our team events, and was incredibly responsive to our every need. For example, we had some issues with the AC when we first checked in, but after reaching out to Stella, she had a repair crew at the villa in 15 minutes and the issue was resolved shortly thereafter.

We don’t have any serious complaints. The only thing that bummed us out was that we had to leave!
