Monte d'avo - Turismo rural- Casa Grande

The location and the outside areas are 11/10 fantastic! The outside kitchen was a very nice place. The rooms where well devided, we went with 8 people and it dis not feel crampt. We asled for a baby crib and it was provoded with all the needs and good safe quality.

The house really needs maintenance. Our watertab in the bathroom was completely loose you needed to hold it to open or close the water, the bathroom door had no doorknob or lock but did not close anyway because it was not in its hinges properly and made a lot of noice during the night. There was one room upstairs, the ballustrade on the stairs was completely loose... plainly dangerous! Multiple beds were either to soft or easy to fall through. Quite a few wall plugs simply did not function, both inside the house as in the outdoor kitchen. Most bathrooms dont have doors. And one night in the outdoor kitchen the power went off.

A casa é muito confortável e bem equipada. O ambiente é tranquilo, perfeito para descansar e desligar do ritmo do dia-a-dia. A localização é ótima para quem procura natureza e sossego, mas ao mesmo tempo permite deslocações fáceis pela região. A comunicação com o anfitrião sempre rápida, simpática e prestável, o que tornou toda a experiência ainda melhor. Sem dúvida um sítio onde gostaríamos de voltar.

We stayed at Villa Monte d’Avó with a group of friends and had an amazing experience. Despite the relatively low rating on Booking, the villa truly exceeded our expectations in many ways. The space is beautiful, spacious, and well equipped for a comfortable group stay. We especially enjoyed the outdoor areas, which were perfect for relaxing and spending time together. The hosts were incredibly kind, helpful, and responsive throughout our stay — they clearly care about their guests and are doing their best to offer a great experience. One point we feel is worth mentioning is the cleanliness of the pool and some of the general areas, which could use a bit more attention. That said, this did not take away from our overall experience at all. In fact, the warmth of the welcome and the charm of the property more than made up for it. If you're considering booking, don't be discouraged by the current rating — we were pleasantly surprised and would absolutely recommend this villa to others. We would definitely come back!
