Villa Carolina with private heated pool

The villa is lovely and spacious, everything you need is in the villa including coffee machine, dishwasher, washing machine. Went with my parents, nephew and our 2 children for 2 weeks, can fill a much larger group but perfect for us as kids all had their own rooms. Idyllic location, views are amazing! Anja was a great host. The neighbours are lovely and part of the property rental also, very kind people. The air-con didn’t seem to be that cold and not work in the family room, we only asked if we had it on correct setting but they replaced it so it’s brand new 🙌 You do need a car, you can’t get around without one as it’s a rural area, we were super lucky that Javi one of the neighbours that is living close by currently is a taxi driver with a 7seater, so we had his number for a few nights out when we fancied a drink (only my husband and I that could drive the car) we went to maspolmas (15mins drive) One night Javi wasn’t working and the neighbour gave us a lift ❤️ Very kind. We had mangos from the garden. We stayed in many nights also and used the BBQ and had breakfast on the balcony each morning! I loved getting up and watching the sunrise from the balcony with my coffee 🌅 No one has mentioned before in reviews I don’t think but the Pool is a salt water pool which is a plus for me, I know that the salt chemicals still form a chlorine but they are less irritating and use less chemicals and better for health! My skin wasn’t all dry when we came out of the Pool. The pool man comes in twice weekly. All in all perfect holiday. Some reviews mentioned the dogs barking which we did hear but not a problem for us. Much prefer that than loud music near the beach resorts.Thanks for a lovely holiday.

Had the best time here. The villa was lovely and the views were beautiful. Anja was amazing and made us very welcome. Would defo go again.

We really enjoyed our time at the villa. The property it’s huge and clean. Very good equipment. The pool area has a separate kitchen and a barbecue that can be use for spending the day with your friends. I really recommend to book your stay here if you want to visit Gran Canaria. 😊

The pool , the view, the terraces everything is amazing

Lovely accommodation. Very idyllic location. Transport essential but would not put me off staying again. Kids loved the pool. Communication was outstanding from time of booking until we arrived back home. Very friendly and helpful, nothing was too much bother. Anja met us on the evening we arrived Very pleasant. Highly recommend Villa Carolina. Rooms are lovely, plenty seating areas around Villa if you want some quiet time.

Nothing to dislike about this property

The heated pool and area were a good standard. The terrace views were stunning. The owner/representative were easily contactable and dealt with some early problems promptly. Good internet connection.

The biggest problem was the noise created by the dogs in properties that were within 200 metres and closer. There were approximately 12 dogs that barked and howled persistently at any/all hours of the daytime and nighttime. Most dogs were kept in compounds and many were left for long periods to their own devices. It spoiled our holiday. We were told by the owner/representative that there was nothing they could do except ask the neighbours to act like good neighbours! They met with limited success. We were repeatedly told this was Gran Canaria and that is how they do things here. Another thing to be aware of is that there is no heating/ac in the main living area or two of the bedrooms.The outdoor pools was much warmer than the open plan living/dining room.! For a winter let this was unexpected/and unacceptable. It made the evenings in the living area very uncomfortable.
