Outstanding family owned casa in Salento!

Very nice host, the lady will try to accommodate you to best of her ability despite the language barrier (expect to use google translate! :) )

The bedroom doors are not fully closed, the top part is always open so it can be a bit noisy with lots of travelers in the rooms next to you

Lovely, quiet place, well equipped

Nice location just out of the busy ness of the sweet little town. Very comfortable beds and bedding and shared living room area. I cooked all my breakfasts and one dinner there and it’s a well stocked modern kitchen. I extended my stay 3 times!

Sound travels easily as in most guest houses in Colombia.

Nothing. Great spacious place

- location fabulous, literally couple mins walk into the main strip - kitchen fully equipped and very useful! Massive area to sit down and eat / chill on the balcony / sofa and chairs if you want to sit somewhere beside your room - beds are really comfortable and fab pillows! Also provided an extra blanket which was cosy as it does get chilly at night - hot water in shower 🙌🏽 few places we’ve been in Colombia seem to offer this 😂 also TV in every room - fantastic value - lady running the place is such a sweetheart, very welcoming (( There’s a huge room on the floor which opens up to the balcony (in hindsight we wish we’d asked to change to this room so a little tip for you!) ))

There is a cockerel very near by 😂 so if you’re a light sleeper earplugs might be handy

My first experience here wasn’t great. I had requested an extra night through the app, and it was initially confirmed. However, when I arrived, I was told I could only stay for two nights because Booking.com hadn’t updated my request. While this might not have been the hostel’s fault, I didn’t feel they were very sympathetic or helpful, especially since everywhere else in town was fully booked. The hostel itself is okay. The upstairs area with the kitchen and seating is actually quite nice, but the downstairs, where many of the rooms are, feels dark and uninviting. In the room, there’s a big gap above the door, so you can hear everything happening outside, which doesn’t offer much privacy. The bed was comfortable, but the shower barely had warm water. In the end, I found another place in town for just £5 more per night. It was much nicer and even included breakfast.

Due to the construction style of the building, it is an echo chamber. You definitely need a good pair of earplugs.
