Boutique hotel villa Cantik and karma beach club

Loved the property pool villa with the most beautiful facilities and access to one of the best beaches in Bali could not ask for more

Our Villa was amazing! Beautiful setting and so private. Tranquility at its finest. What made our stay were our Villa staff - Made and Pande pampered and looked after us better than anyone we have experienced in our many many trips to Bali. The location on the cliff tops is breathtaking and the beach club was the best we have ever been too. Couldn’t rate our stay highly enough.

The only unfortunate thing was the cable car was not operational during our stay.

As for the accommodation itself only the kitchen really needs serious maintenance, further all was great. The villa is part of a Karma Kandara resort, check in an check out needs to happen at the general reception of the resort. The situation with the check out is really chaotic. Besides that, the resorts makes a reservation on your credit card at the check-in for the money you are possibly going to spend. The settlement, double checking all the receipts etc and settle it with the creditcard is also part of the chaotic check out. And in the meantime, while checking you out, the reception staff continues picking up the phone. Resulting in rechecking the same things again because they forgot what they were doing before the telecon. There were even people who already wanted to check in and surprisingly the reception staff decided to help these persons first instead of clearing the accommodations of guests checking out. But the worst thing was waiting for our luggage for over an hour, whilst reception told it would take 10min. When we tried to talk to the reception staff about it, they were avoiding the dialogue or quickly started to do other things, until the moment we really started to complain because our taxi was already waiting 45min. Then all of a sudden the luggage was there. In worst case you will miss your flight. The reception staff clearly does not know how to prioritize tasks which gave a very bad aftertaste of a further great stay.

Our driver Didik took excellent care of us and his partner made sure our rooms were cleaned daily. He travelled all the way to UBud to pick us up and checked in on us every day. The monkeys are amazing and we were warned about keeping all doors closed as they are very cheeky!! Late check out was a bonus also

It would have been nice to have breakfast at the Villa included or in the restaurant . The lighting is very very dark in the villa also, which is a simple fix. Only access to beach is a shuttle bus as the lift hasn't been working for a long time. Food and drinks is VERY expensive and the resort is quite remote
