Whale Sea Cottage

Position in front overlooking the bay was awesome. House is comfortable, clean and well looked after. Staff are very caring and keen to help and advise.

We were with group of 6 and only two loungers and only one lounge-bed at the pool cover seem a bit short. Third bed was broken.

10/10 - Beyond Expectations! Our stay was absolutely exceptional, and the hosts truly went above and beyond to make it memorable. The pleasant surprises just kept coming – we had no idea the pool was heated, but it is! Moreover, the house is equipped with solar and battery backup, which proved to be a lifesaver. When the town experienced a 24-hour power outage due to flooding, we were completely unaffected, thanks to the host's thoughtful preparations. The host's constant updates on town power outages and road closures were incredibly helpful and reassuring. Plus, the views from the property were simply sublime – we were treated to a spectacular display of whales in the area. It was an unforgettable experience, and we can't recommend this place enough!

The view from the deck...even though we had really awful weather!The house was very clean and Tanya explained everything in detail.Will def come back in summer.Its very convient to shops cute restaurants and the harbour.

Attention is needed to the blinds in the dining area.

Fantastic location, kitchen was very well equipped. Fantastic accommodation for good weather. Loved the outside space. The indoor fire was good fun to use and made the living area snug but needed lots of wood and charcoal for it which was easily available locally.

As we were there during adverse weather it felt rather drafty. There were 40mile per hour winds.
