Great location and views.

Some facilities missing - no dressing table chair in one bedroom, now luggage stands for suitcases. Although there was a gas stove, during load shedding it needed to be light and it was a mission to fine matches.

the location was good. Everything else was a little disappointing because the property is tired and basic, but we did enjoy walking out directly onto the cliff walk. The property managers did a good job getting the wifi fixed on a sunday when we arrived to find the wifi was broken

Nothing was a disaster, but a lot of things were not right or were below a normal spec. for a decent holdiay rental. The broken wifi when we arrived; the underpowered inverter which the housekeeper said would keep the lights on if we put nothing else on- but actually the lights never stayed on for even an hour when the evening loadshedding/power outages were happening: the disgusting braai grids that needed a tedioius deep clean before we could cook our evening meal on arrival day(ironic because we were told in the 'unusual/fussy' instructions to leave the place pristine or we would lose a R1k deposit and there would be careful inspections before we left etc - yet we have never seen such a dirty braai outside of a public rest area so it was like a Fawlty Towers comedy episode...); we found the place to be under-furnished for even two of us and no comfortable chairs to sit in - just some old /smallish sofas which were only good for an hour for me at a push. We were expecting our usual comforts from a south african holiday stay- this place would not need much investment to get it up to standard and the housekeeper said the owners will improve the inverter etc, but hopefully they also update the interior and the furnishings etc. Lots to do

The view, the pool,

Stunning view and location. Cosy and very comfortable. Clean and neat. Loved the book collection.

Stay was too short. Would have liked towel rack in Main bathroom/ bedroom. But honestly that's all I can think that was missing.

Everything! Could not fault the property, the lovely ladies who assisted with the book in. Everything was explained in great detail. Absolutely loved our stay. would definitely stay again and recommend to my friends and family.

Wonderful location in the city, close to the ocean where we had the chance to view a whale from the terrasse! Nice swimming pool even if we had not try it. 2 braai available (outdoor and indoor). The house is quiet well equiped, even with a solar generator which was quiet useful with actual electricity shut downs. The rooms are spacious and the 3 bathrooms are appreciable.

It was the only place during our trip where my allergies manifested. the place is clean but there were some dust on the venetian blinds, which I can understand it is not always easy to clean…
