Taste of the Sea

The views were spectacular. Five star views. Location was quaint. Could’ve used some better instructions on how to find the place. It had ample bedrooms and bathrooms. The wood-burning stove was a nice touch.

The kitchen supplies were somewhat lacking in order to prepare food there, which we tried to do three times. The dryer was really rough. Super loud and just didn’t dry anything. Would be nice to have a proper appliance, more energy efficient. The main issue was the beds and pillows. They were so uncomfortable that sleep was tough to come by. Easy upgrade to make and would be more in line with the cost of the accommodations. We also arrived to the front door wide open, key in the door and lock box open. Tried to reach out to the owner since we were anxious, but no response was provided until late the next day. The house seemed to be okay, but we were nervous for sure.

Fabulous location ,amazing cottage ,great views from the house .and very spacious.The hosts had even kept a complimentary bottle of sparkling wine for us !Loved it .

Only issue was that the Tumble Dryer seemed old .It took ages to dry our clothes .Just informing incase any guests are relying on drying their clothes .

Well, Only location is a plus for this Property.....After thinking a lot !!!

Everything ! - First - Its a wrongly advertised Bed config - Second - Lot of non functional things like Washing machine / Dryer - Lastly - Hosts are "Invisible" and never to be picking phone/Message anything You would be on your own to figure things out - If at all that is working !!!

The house was in a beautiful location, the number of beds and rooms were perfect for our family, and the towels were better than what other accommodations provided.

The only thing that was missing were some kitchen scissors.

Świetna lokalizacja, piękny widok z okien, małe odległości do atracji turystycznych (Quirang 7 min., Kilt Rock 6 min., Old Man of Storr 16 min.). Obiekt nie serwuje śniadań, ale kuchnia jest dobrze wyposażona, a w jadalni i saloniku wystarczająco miejsca dla całej grupy. Polecem to miejsce

L’emplacement

Nous étions huit, il n’y avait pas assez de couverts, pas de casserole suffisamment grande pour 8, 4 sets de table et nous avons du nettoyer le sèche linge afin qu’il fonctionne (peluches trop abondantes et condensateur saturé d’eau). Personne n’a répondu à nos sms et mails concernant les ustensiles de cuisine. Les lits moyennement confortables et les instructions de de départ envoyées à 11heures le jour du départ alors que nous devions partir avant 10 heures…

The space and the view. Well located

The washing machine didn’t function properly (continuously running without stopping, had to stop it manually with clothes still full of soap and drenched) the first day of the stay (4 nights stay). The manager for the property was called several time with no answer. They sent an email stating a replacement would be installed on the third day (a day before our departure) but it didn’t happen. No calls by the manager despite several attempts to reach them. Had to rinse as best we could the clothes and try to dry them during the night before our departure (yes because the dryer didn’t function either). Overall very disappointed by the service. Renting such a place is also to lighten the load particularly with young children. I spend my last afternoon dealing with partly unwashed and drenched clothes when I could have enjoyed Skye. Answering calls is the least a manager should do.

La casa es estupenda, muy espaciosa y limpia. Todas las habitaciones tenían secador y también tiene lavadora y secadora (aunque no supimos ponerla o estaba rota porque la ropa salía chorreando) lo que viene genial para cuando pasas varios días allí si haces rutas y acabas ensuciando todo de barro.

Las camas eran horriblemente incómodas, te hundías en el momento en que te sentabas
