Beautiful layout with great wood fired hot tub. Warm, friendly welcome from host upon arrival and fire alight in room when we arrived which added to a nice warm arrival. Breakfast supplies were delicious and such beautiful surrounds. Enjoyed a short walk before our dip in hot tub. Loved our stay and hope to return one day.

Unfortunately I'm a bit tall for the support beams running across upstairs so had to watch my head, but that was just part of the charm and authenticity of a rural stable accommodation. No issues with height down stairs.

The house was lovely and cozy and the hot tub and open fire pit were a total highlight. We were greeted by the sweetest dogs upon arrival and Elizabeth was very kind.

The most gorgeous accommodation. I stayed in The Stables. It is so comfortable. There is no shower but I had a bath for the first time in many years and loved it. There is a good supply of snack foods including home made pizzas, which is ideal as I didn't want to leave once I'd arrived.

The long dirt road to reach the property was a little intimidating. However it is well maintained. It was more to do with the little hire car I was driving. I had no problems getting in or out.

A fabulous rustic former Stables beautifully renovated in a way that preserved the charm and feeling of stepping back into the mid 19th Century. Perfect for an escape from the hustle of modern life and set in a rural landscape of paddocks and sheep. Secluded and private and very well equipped. The woodfire makes for cosy winter nights.

The bath is quaint and contributes to the experience, but is slightly impractical and can be a slip hazard. Probably almost time to consider a new mattress for the bed. Some light kindling would assist with fire starting.

Staying at the historical Stable is truly a special experience. The hosts Elizabeth is wonderful, approachable and always helpful. The Clay Target shooting with Glen and Cheryl is unforgettable.

It gave us a genuinely rural experience, the hosts were very obliging with providing a wood-fired hot tub despite drought conditions, the pod was very comfortable with quality fixtures and generous food provisions. We enjoyed the peacefulness and the opportunity to take a walk across the property, as well as a chance to try a hand at clay targets, facilitated by the hosts.
