EKOSTAY - Aqua Villa

Worst website of all! We booked with booking.com for ekostay and the booking.com showed that our booking for alibaug villa is confirmed before a week or 10 days and ekostay kept on claiming that we didn’t finish the payment after the booking so our stay got canceled. First of all we got no email of any sort regarding the payment or cancellation. We traveled all the way from Dubai to mumbai to stay withour family, upon that we traveled for more 4-5 hours just to reach alibaug from mumbai in heavy rains.And after reaching at the property we tried to contact property and they came up with bizarre news that our booking is canceled beacuse we didn’t pay. They said they informed us through booking.com messenger and we checked but it was not there! There was no help of any sort from ekostay and suffered a lot becuase of them. We had senior citizens with us who suffered the most. There was a severe miscommunication between ekostay & booking.com, however this was all ekostay’s fault. Since bookings.com gave us the confirmation and the 3rd party (ekostay) rejected ours even without informing us. We were lucky enough to find another accommodation through agoda. Ekostay needs to fix their management and customer care services. This was unacceptable and very shameful for a brand like ekostay. Pathetic! I will pay you extra for villa next time but never book with ekostay. Please who want to book with them please be careful. Hope this review helps other travelers.

booking process is rather confusing . you book the villa which most of the time is not available and if you somehow do get it they want you to pay 100% advance in like 30 minutes . irrespective of you being on a flight or in a business meeting or wherever . Rather strange experience and I wouldn’t be doing it again .
