Afroditi House

Villa was easy to find with directions given to find from a night flight were excellent. Once arrived we were happy with the size and cleanliness also the amount of gadgets in the kitchen.. Small thing! no toaster but yes could grill in the oven... Pool and outside space is lovely with fig, lemon, plum and pecan trees. The sun is at the pool first thing in the morning and stays until around 5pm. Owners are at hand if needed they are super fast at replying. Owners do ask from time to time how things are via email or text and if your happy never just turned up unannounced not even to clean the pool. Paphos and Coral bay are easily accessible with car 20 - 25 mins. Supermarket 5 mins from villa turn right this is a mini tardis and lots of stock from fresh to frozen, baked to fresh coffee and good prices.

Just a idea but water or little welcome pack would be much appreciated when arriving on late evening flights. If new to Cyprus finding your way can be difficult or you might not access a shop due to being shut. Beach towels for sun loungers would be a added bonus. We did buy some and a pump for lilos etc. Beds in both rooms are not for us! did flip turn mattresses but made no difference. May suit others. Not the owners fault and I feel for them as I don't think much can be done and I do think it a on going problem But... The villa( 4) directly opposite has dogs not 1-2 but 3 and ohh my they bark and howl all throughout the day and night, which then starts off the dogs next door. These villas are opposite afrodite villa. At times we had to get out due to barking and howling driving us nuts.... When really we just wanting to enjoying the lovely pool. Yes that's what you do! go out but for us we have been coming for many years and come to chill switch off relax and sunbath. Happy enjoying day to day noise and every day living. Just not constant barking, howling and partying. The evening throughout the night barking and howling carries and seems louder even with ear plugs. Will add depending on the wind direction the smell of poop and urine is unpleasant at times sunbathing around the pool. Then you have the party villa (2) 3rd down on the opposite side of Afroditi house noise of karaoke late evening screaming children very very early in the mornings 6ish (am) and due to all the coming and going in the party villa as we named it.... the dogs barking and howling intensified. At least 5 possibly 6 different lots of groups came and went from the party villa. We stayed for 3 weeks but wouldn't come back due to dogs and party villa across from Afroditi house. Great place to come if you can manage all the above. Feel for the owners as this must impact on rental.

Everything about our stay at Afroditi House was perfect. Despite a late arrival to the property due to a delayed flight, the hosts made it very easy for us to access. The house is very well equipped with everything you need readily available. The pool is amazing which just enhanced our stay! The area itself is very quiet, with some beautiful towns and villages within easy driving distance. The house comes with 2, separate private parking spaces, which were very much appreciated, as the drive of the house itself is very steep! During our stay, we did not meet the hosts, but were in regular contact with them via the Booking.com message system. All queries were quickly answered and it enabled us to have a strong form of communication with one another whilst we were there. We enjoyed our stay at Afroditi House so much, we have already re-booked to return here again next year!

Villa was excellent but there were a number of comments regarding overall

Kitchen was never cleaned when cleaners came.Bedding and towels near replacing urgently. . Odd pillows( even had children's pillow caese).BBQ needs replacing as it doesn't work. Pool has no depth signs and the access steps need an extra step at the bottom. Bottom step was at about hip height. You need to provide more details about the house and the area. Maybe make a folder up to include things like Doctrrs pharmacist etc numbers, and details on use of washing machine and other household equipment. Aircon unit was replaced in the bedroom after old one broke down Major leak on the bathroom sink which was mended quickly.

Lovely Villa with everything you could need . Gorgeous pool. Stunning location with Views . Lovely and peaceful just what we wanted. Host was lovely , came out to meet us as google maps didn't quite get us to the exact spot. Nothing too much trouble , clean Towels dropped off on request. 25 min Drive to Paphos and Latchi . Definitely recommend. Will return . Thanks for a lovely stay Afroditi House loved it

Lovely private villa that's probably nicer than the photos, and the hosts leave you to it but are never far away if you need them 10/10

The poor dogs across the road were not looked after very well.
