Small villa beside the beach. Nice pool, good breakfasts. Very good sized bed room, lounge and bathroom. Likely more privacy on upper floor. Small garden area with sun loungers. Near to fishing community, able to see the labour intensive work of the fishermen. Good staff enhanced the stay. Chief who took orders for the evening meal. Quiet stretch of beach. With a car in day time travelling distance of ancient temples, other tourist sites, Galle, and Lunuganga.

Villa Nilnara is a very easy place to stay. The hotel is recently refurbished, very clean, rooms are really spacious and bright, mosquito nets are new and hole free (unlike most other places we stayed!) and we loved having a balcony overlooking the beach, and the great sunsets. There are only 5 rooms, so you often have the use of the pool to yourselves and it’s literally just a few steps to walk to the beach in front. Further down the beach, on the southern end, loungers can be rented and there’s calmer swimming and a juice bar. This place is great is you just want a quiet time right by a quiet beach. There’s not much else around here so you either need to get a tuk tuk or pick me to have more dining options, or have your own transport. The hotel is very flexible about when they will serve you food, and their Sri Lankan breakfast and rice and curry was very good.

Just minor things - some comfy furniture on the balcony would be nice, the dining area would benefit from a few plants or pictures to make it a little prettier, and the chain link fencing at the end of the pool is a little ugly. A few of the frangipani trees in the garden look like they need some attention. However these are minor things - all the basics are good and the main thing is it’s a very comfortable place to be and the staff are kind and helpful. The beach immediately in front of the hotel garden is used by local fishermen and so inevitably has a bit of litter.

die lage ist direkt am strand, aber sonst ist weit und breit nicht viel los - zum abschalten perfekt! das personal war sehr freundlich und hat bei anliegen direkt geholfen. Die zimmer waren groß und sauber, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

das essen war leider enttäuschend… wir haben zwei mal dort gegessen und waren leider jedes mal enttäuscht. der „veggie burger“ war ein burgerbrötchrn belegt mit gurken, tomaten und zwiebeln - keine sauce kein pattie nur rohes ungewürztes gemüse…

Ein sehr schönes kleines feines Hotel mit großzügigen und geschmackvoll eingerichteten Zimmern, schönem Pool und Garten und direktem Zugang zu einem wunderschönen langen Strand. Eine sehr persönliche Atmosphäre, super staff, Koch und Manager und sehr leckeres Essen, auch persönliche Wünsche wurden gerne erfüllt. Alle sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit- ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt! Highly recommended! 💕👍🌸

The location is very good, spacious rooms, quiet place to unwind, staff was friendly and attentive, breakfast tasty, pool clean, direct access to the beach. Sunbeds are also good. Highly recommend

If you pay with card, make sure that you pay in Dollar or Rupies, because otherwise there will be a 6,99% Currency Conversion Fee, which we, after noticing got back AC could be a bit quieter but no big deal

Nakvynės vieta išskirtinio grožio. Tiek aplinka, tiek kambariai. Draugiškas personalas. Viešbučio lokacija nėra šalia kitų objektų, parduotuvės yra toliau, paplūdimys nuošalesnis. Tiems kas nori ramaus poilsio - geras pasirinkimas.

Virtuvė nėra pati geriausia lyginant su tuo ką turėjome kitur Šri lankoje. Pusryčius vertinčiau 8/10, vakarienes - 6/10. Bet aplinkui nakvynės vietą nelabai yra kitų pasirinkimų.

Puiki, rami vieta, nedaug kambarių, puikus baseinas, ant pat paplūdimio kranto, dideli kambariai

Aplink nėra jokių kavinių, o maistas viešbutyje pasirodė brangokas ir ne super skanus
