Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. Alles sauber und ordentlich. Teri war sehr freundlich und sympathisch. Sie hat uns viele Informationen über den Ort gegeben und einen Tisch im Restaurant in der Nähe reserviert. Der Kamin war an bei der Rückkehr. Vielen Dank für die Gastfreundschaft! Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt und wären gerne länger geblieben.

Prachtige sfeervolle accommodatie. Lokatie perfect. Lopend naar het centrum van Barrydale. Rustig gelegen. Fantastische hosts die ons hebben geholpen toen we het nodig hadden. We kwamen laat aan en Terri had de haard opgestookt zodat het lekker warm was in huis. Er stond een welkomssnack klaar.

The garden and house were beautiful and super comfy. The decor was quirky and arty. It was lovely to stay in a place that was individual - it made it special!

"Eclectically designed cozy Barrydale cottage"

The cottage is set on 2 levels, with the bedroom in a loft above the lounge and the kitchen. It is very tastefully decorated with numerous eclectic and funky South African decorations and artifacts. It is right next to the hosts' main house and set at the end of the driveway adjacent to the garden. There is a wood-burning stove that helps on cold nights and makes the space very cozy, and together with the thoughtful lighting, it is very pleasant.

The garden felt quite unkempt and unruly. We had hoped to use the swimming pool, but it was too dirty and slimy, which was disappointing given that it was advertised as a feature. Access to the loft bedroom is difficult for anyone who struggles with steep stairs.

"Great choice for a trip Barrydale summer or winter"

Really friendly owner, lovely pool with view and bright airy property that was spotlessly clean - amazing olives too!!

A mosquito net would have been a great addition although plug in repellent was provided and worked well

Der Gastgeberin stehen 10 Punkte zu allerdings sind leider die bereits genannten Erfahrungen der anderen Urlauber auch von uns gemacht worden.Man sollte bei der Buchung beachten das es eine recht enge Treppe zu den Schlafräumen in den ersten Stock geht. Für gebrechliche Personen nicht geeignet. Super netter Empfang der Gastgeberin steht jederzeit mit tollen Tipps zur Verfügung. Wie erwähnt würden wir nur die Gastfreundschaft bewerten eine glatte 10.
