Breathe Villa Meno

Lovely villa and plunge pool and the staff Adatz and Google and their colleague were really fantastic and couldn’t do enough for us, helping us to organise activities and boat transfers etc for a fair price. We loved our visit.

A bar fridge in the room would have been handy (although we were welcome to use the one in the bar.) One other thing to note is that on booking.com the booking details are ‘pay at property’ but the owners actually require a deposit 3 nights before you arrive so that was slightly misleading on the app. I found it slightly tricky to pay, mainly because of my bank in Australia requiring a text authentication which I couldn’t receive because I didn’t have an Indonesian Sim at that stage - We figured it out, but it was a little bit time-consuming. Just something to be aware of.

The staff was super friendly and gave us a special feeling mg about the place. They were incredibly helpful and we enjoyed all our conversations with them. We would recommend this place for everyone who want to stay at Gili Meno!

We were welcomed by Adakz with a smile and a welcome drink, he gave us a lot of informations. The staff was very friendly and helpful during our stay (thank you Google for the laughs!). We had to leave early and organize a new return trip, Adakz was super helpful in taking care of us until we were back to our hotel in Bali. This is the perfect place if you want a friendly vibe with a cheerful and helpful staff.

This place is located in the middle of the island and surrounded by locals who are used to burn leaves, branches (and plastic) on a daily basis, beware of the fumes!

In country known for its hospitality our stay at Breathe Villa stood out from the rest our host Gede Google was friendly and welcoming. Right from the start he made us feel at home and looked after our every need. He even went above an beyond to make sure we would be able to make it back to Bali when all navigation had been closed. We'll always remember out stay here and hopefully we can come back for a longer stay in the future.

Eco friendly accomadation. Staff were excellent, nothing was too much too much trouble, Breakfast was ordered the day before then brought to your room at the requested time. Help and advice with trips and transfers was available and booked if required. Drinking water was available from a water station at reception so you could refill your bottles at any time of day, no single use plastics are available at these villas. Special mention to the manager Adakz and his assistant Google.

No fridge or electric kettle in the rooms. We stayed in one of the villas with a private plunge pool, this should be advertised on booking sites as a personal plunge pool because it can be viewed through the gate and fence surrounding the villa.

When you walk into the property you are going to be totally captivated by the beautiful garden area and the peace and tranquility. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the pool and beautiful garden. Gede Google's brilliant grief bananas too we're super delicious. Adazke was also super helpful and friendly just like all the staff working here. Right next door there is a super little waring with delicious food at amazing prices. I quite honestly didn't want to leave - this is heaven on earth......

There is ABSOLUTELY nothing to dislike - not even bugs or mosquitoes!!

There was so many mosquitoes in the room and the owners said that that is acceptable, baring in mind that we have been travelling Indonesia for the past month and have not in any standard seen any mosquitoes in our rooms. Obviously there are lots of mosquitoes in the country but they should not be in your rooms as they are not healthy to sleep with. There for we had to leave the hotel and we couldn’t stay in it for one night. So I messaged the owner and said is it possible to have a refund due to this situation. She responded back with this email. …… It is a great shame that you have decided not to stay. Unfortunately we will not agree to refund you for the reasons you are stating. You have barely stepped foot in the villa and leaving without giving anything a chance. Thank you for the kind words towards our beautiful place and our staff. The Gili Islands and Lombok are a tropical paradise and with that tropical climate comes the amazing and diverse wildlife of the tropics which of course includes mosquitos. It is now actually the dry season and so there are way less now than in the rainy season. It is unfortunate that your boyfriend has some sensitivity to mosquitos and even more so that you didn't maybe research more where you were visiting. They are everywhere in Indonesia: the countryside and the cities. So you would very little respite even if you were to move. ….. Luckily we didn’t actually pay anything on arrival, and on booking.com so we got away with not having to pay the cost, PLEASE BE AWARE OF THE MOSQUITOES whilst you are sleeping

The staff could not do enough for us, such lovely people, made us feel very welcome. Our little villa was nice, comfortable outside sofa area and a refreshing plunge pool. Breakfast was generous and delivered to our villa every morning. Absolutely loved the toiletries in the bathroom, not watered down like other places we have stayed.

The bed was far too firm for us old folk, the staff did supply a topper mattress which helped slightly but still not great. No fridge in the room to keep drinks cold. The property is secluded so walking down very dry dusty tracks is required, and torches are essential. The outside chairs are horrible, uncomfortable and unpractical, sun beds like the ones by the pool would be better.
