Breathe Villa Meno

We had a big villa which was nice and the garden was nice to see the fruit and the birds.

It was a bit out of the way, but that's ok. It was next to some noisy neighbours and the mosque woke us up every day 5am. The villa has a structure of bamboo, so it does have bugs running around and you can hear birds in the roof too. The breakfast was pretty basic.

Idyllic place and nice bungalow with private plunge pool. Fantastic staff that knew the island well and assisted us with all we needed, including organizing activities and trips. Bonus that they had bicycles you could use for free. Great breakfast!

Location was a bit far from the beach, though it helped with the free bicycles. Pool was smaller than it appears on pictures

The accomodation was amazing: Clean, Comfortable and cozy. The perfect island vibes. The best of it was our Host Adakz, who was so kind and helped us whether he can. The best host we had so far on our journey. Would 100% recommend the place!

The staff where great and very helpful. But did not respect your privacy, and would just appear uninvited.

LOCATION, LOCATION. !!! Villa is on a dusty dirt track in middle of untidy, unkept jungle area. It was a 25 minute walk to beach, that you could walk in daytime, BUT was very unsafe in the dark. So had to get a horse / cart taxi each way to eat at cost of 10 euro. each way. Also not a "PRIVATE VILLA" as the staff had access to both sides of villa and pool, they even came in at 4.00pm to water the plant pots on terrace, when we we where sat around OUR PRIVATE pool, crazy. !!! There was no fridge or cold water supplied, no kettle, Tea / Coffee. Of the 3 villas that we stayed at on the Gilis this was the most exspensive and the worse without doubt. So much so that we cut short our stay, forfitted the cost and went to another villa. Be warned, the villa complex is up for sale stating only 3 minutes from beach, IT IS NOT 3 MINUTES TO BEACH. On one day the staff did not clean our villa or towels, as they had to do the grounds, paths as buyers where coming to view property.

The staff working at Breathe Villa, Adakz and Google, were so lovely- both really friendly, warm, polite and super accommodating and they were the highlight of my stay at the villa.

Our host Goggle really made the holiday for us. Nothing was too much trouble and he saw to our every need.

Wonderful location. You can walk 15 minutes one way to see the sunrise and 20 minutes the other for sunset. They also offer free bikes if you’re in a hurry to get around.

The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and extremely helpful and accomodating.

The villa staff were the best one could ask for in hospitality. Made and Gedegoogle looked after me and we’re always going above and beyond expectations. They made my stay a memorable one with their kindness and joy.

Minor issues are that the villas are not very private I got moved into a very open one. The towels and linen were quite old and smelly which does not align with cost of value however, given location is not a major problem.
