Amazing views and the fireplace was a lifesaver on cold rainy night.

I absolutely loved the view. This accommodation is suitable for guests on route to Mosselbay. Family accommodation. Good for short stays and holidays if one is looking for that.

The location was unclear. On the original night of the booking, it was not described as location on route to Outshoorn we booked for Mosselbay. This was described as Mosselbay Harterbos. However, both these locations are at 35kms and 27kms away from the accommodation. There was also no deposit required. This came later at a cost of R500, which we did not pay. Had we traveled on this rainy night to accommodation, it would have been quite difficult as the road was gravel and not lighted. No signage, etc. If all these were described in the description, we might have made a different decision. However, I do recommend it as a holiday accommodation but not an overnight stay. Many hidden costs. Example R50 extra for firewood the warming of the place should be the hosts Costs.

The hostess requested a R500 deposit on the day of our arrival, which I paid within a few hours. She promised that it would be returned within 7 to 14 days. On the day we left she told me that everything was in order with the property. She did not notify me of any reason why I would not get the deposit back. I am still waiting for me deposit to be returned. It is now almost 3 weeks since our stay.

We loved our short break. We wish we could've stayed longer. The views is gorgeous and the house is so comfy and warm. The indoor fireplace was the perfect touch for the weather. The hosts was very accommodating. We will defnitely recommend the place and will be back for another stay!

The view was STUNNING and really refueled the soul. The unit was equipped with everything you need and more. The rooms are spacious and exceeded our expectations. The hosts wonderful.

Amazing location, everything you need for a stay. Even Candles for loadshedding! Hosts were amazing and although we only stayed for one night, we are planning another soon.

Unfortunately not yet “loadshedding” friendly.
