Sugarmon Villas

We had a fantastic stay at Sugarmon Villas — a great budget-friendly option with everything you need for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The views are absolutely lovely, overlooking the town below and with a beautiful view of the Pitons. You can enjoy this from both the balcony and the outdoor seating area, which also has sunbeds, chairs, and a plunge pool — perfect for relaxing and taking it all in. The apartment itself is well equipped, with a fully stocked kitchen and a comfortable lounge area. The bathroom is modern, the bed is very comfy, and the air conditioning works well, which is a big plus. There’s also access to a washing machine in an outbuilding if needed. Whitney and the staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. Whitney was always responsive, and nothing was too much trouble. He kindly took us to Anse Mamin Beach twice for a small charge — the road is very steep, and not one we’d want to drive ourselves, so this was really appreciated. It’s definitely worth visiting. He also helped with trips to the supermarket, which made everything so much easier. Overall, it is a brilliant stay with great views, helpful hosts, and excellent value for money. Would definitely recommend 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

A few small things to note: The roads around the property are quite steep. We didn’t drive and used taxis, although we did walk into town once (around 15 minutes). It’s doable but very hot, and we got a taxi back from the bottom of the hill for around $10. The outdoor seating could be more comfortable — the sunbed and chair cushions were quite thin, and the back cushions were a bit too large for the chairs. The balcony is a great size, and it would be a nice addition to have a small table and chairs to sit outside for evening meals, although there is a seating area outside with a coffee table and a dining table inside in the kitchen area. None of these points took away from our stay at all — it’s still excellent value for money and well worth it.

Good location close to Soufriere town, but it is recommended to have a car if you want to move around to see the nearby attractions. Simple, cosy rooms, great price to value ratio compared to other available accomodations. The tiny pool was a nice addition, if you have some spare time. A lot of colibries in the garden that are so nice to contemplate. The staff is very nice, everything went smooth.

It is not on the owner or the accomodation, but the road leading down to the accomodation is in a terrible conditions, so expect a short bumpy ride from the main road. A hairdryer would be a nice to have in the room and a kettle in the kitchen. The safe in the room was not working, as there was no battery in it.

Die Wohnung ist gut ausgestattet und sauber. Der Blick auf die Pitons und Soufriere traumhaft. Handtücher, Küchenzubehör sehr gut und Witney ein sehr freundlicher und hilfsbereiter Host.

An der Wohnung gibt es nichts zu bemängeln! Es gibt ein paar Einschränkungen, die mit der Örtlichkeit zu tun haben: Die Zufahrt führt über eine sehr schlechte Straße mit großen Schlaglöchern, die mit einem „normalen“ PKW u.U. schlecht zu fahren sind. Wir hatten einen Jeep, das ging einigermaßen. Aber andere Reisende haben in die Schlaglöcher Steine gelegt, um darüber fahren zu können. Auch liegt die Wohnung hoch und steil am Hang über dem Ort, d.h. wenn jemand nicht mobil oder fit ist, ist es äußerst anstrengend in den Ort bzw. wieder zurück zu kommen. Aber wie gesagt, dafür kann der Gastgeber nichts. Wir finden es nur wichtig, darauf hinzuweisen.

Nice little pool, comfortable bed and a great balcony with a wonderful view

We stayed 9 nights so it would have been nice if we could get new towels and the floor cleaned but on the other hand we didn’t ask for it

The views were stunning
