The property was just amazing! We met the owner and he was very passionate about the region giving us loads of tips for our stay. The property has everything you need, it is spacious and very comfortable. The air-con was very much needed. The pool was also superb. We booked the top apartment and we had welcomed shade at the back were the pool was. We wished we could have stayed for longer.

Ioannis is a great host, he has a bunch of excellent suggestions and is very friendly and informative. Our private pool was bigger than expected, and we had patios & balconies at both front and back of our 3rd floor apartment - so we had an excellent view out over the sea & old town, along with sunshine all day. The place is very large with indoor and outdoor dining tables, along with six individual padded sun loungers. The kitchen is spacious, and everything was clean. There's plenty of parking right next to the apartment, and a cab is 15 Euros to Old Town (around 25-30 euros for airport). I'd strongly recommend you rent a car for Crete, unless you're staying in the Old Town (though you'll still need taxis for beaches). There's a great stereo in the apartment too, which we used to play the radio - not sure if you can connect your phone to this or not, I never asked. There's also two additional single beds outside of the main bedroom, in an alcove off the large living room. Bedroom aircon was very effective and much needed.

One minor inconvenience: we stayed in the apartment upstairs (there's two apartments within the house), and to get to this property you have to walk through the pool/outdoor dining/sunbathing area of the apartment downstairs. The apartment downstairs is larger, and can host 7/8 people. It might be more awkward for the people downstairs, but it does feel a bit strange to be walking through this area, as it feels like it should be more private. A couple of times the people staying downstairs would have to get up from the table to let us past. Ultimately it's twenty seconds of saying hello and excuse us, but I'd have much preferred a side entrance so we didnt feel like we were intruding.
