Villa Tengkek Karimunjawa

The villa was amazing, clean, location was great and quiet. Staff were kind and looked after us. Right in the beach front the timber and carved wood was a beautiful touch that added to the atmosphere

A little far from the main town. But still it was well worth the travel

The privacy of the location and its view on the beach front , the beautifull rooms, a good wifi and the wonderful staf. ♥️ A bit further from Karimun But if you rent a motorbike it is no problem and easy to visit everything you want to see and do on the island!

The amenities of the house and superb service of the people that work here. The location is simply fantastic. Waking up to the sound of gentle waves is the best feeling ever! And a special shoutout to Stephane (owner) for making this vacation as relaxed as possible. Thank you Stephane.

Absolutely nothing

What a phenomenal place Our stay at Villa Tengkek felt like a once in a lifetime experience. The villa and the surrounding garden, right by the sea, looked just like, if not more beautiful than the photos. We were truly blown away by everything. Having breakfast and relaxing on the big terrace were one of our favorite parts about staying here. The thing that probably sets Villa Tengkek apart from so many other places though, is its exclusivity. No other guests staying in bungalows or villas next to yours, which makes it so easy to find peace and relaxation after long days of exploring this beautiful island. Stephane and his staff are fantastic and made our lifes easier in so many ways. Masturi helped us with the transportation, arranging tours, food, always being there when we had questions of any kind.  Next time, we'll certainly stay longer :)

Breakfast was great, and above all was the care and support from Mastouri.

Everything! The Javanese style of the house, the well-kept garden, the massages, the boat tour, the BBQ by Masturi, the peace there. Masturi who cares for the house is such a genuine, attentive, amazing person. He helps you with everything as local people speak hardly any English.

Nothing that regards the house: but trash/plastic - like in other Indonesian places - will be a big problem in future if they don’t do anything about it. At least the house owner uses resusable boxes for food and the house is built in a sustainable way. Swimming next to the house is hardly possible, go to Tanjung Gelam: you can snorkel right from the beach! Many fish there.

The location is great, very private. The host, Matsuri, was fantastic - made us feel very welcome, gave us advice and recommendations, made us breakfast every morning. The villa itself was perfect for a relaxing holiday - it was hard to leave!

Very nice place. Plenty of space inside. Nice staff. Near to airport. Netflix TV. Good with children.

Sea was warm, coast sandy, but not very comfortable for swimming, as it was very shallow. Bad road to this place. About 30 min. by scooter from harbor. A bit far away from interesting places, so you need to ride a lot. Bad Wifi/mobile internet. Limited selection for breakfast.

Everything was perfect. Entire villa is located un a quit area with private access to the sea. Amazing coral reefs just at your doorstep. Could not wish for a better place after our long travel.
