The Tool Shed

The hosts were incredible, location out of this world, and facilities second to none. They provided a vegan friendly breakfast and really went above and beyond. I am staying here again as soon as I can and if you're looking for a peaceful break in exceptional countryside then this is the place for you.

Everything was top quality...Furnishings, facilities, linen and towels were great. Breakfast ingredients were excellent and generous. The bed was warm and comfortable. The rural outlook was to our liking, wide open space, with plenty of birdlife. The hosts were friendly, very helpful, and discrete. Parking was easy, and right next to the accommodation. Only able to stay for one night, but would have liked to stay longer, and better explore the area.

Nothing could have been better. We were attending a wedding, so perhaps a full-length mirror somewhere might be useful, but not at all essential for a regular break.

Amazing location, property and hosts! Highly recommended as a get away at any time of year! Super continental breakfast, coffee and tea equipment and all the accoutrements for woodburning stove etc. David and Tracey are superlative hosts and set a very high standard for hospitality indeed.

Lovely place and very grateful for the breakfast

The area was nice and quiet and secluded. Clean and spacious.

Sadly the shower although usable has very low pressure when turned for hot water. Altering Pressure or fitting an electric shower would sort out the problem. Due to our short stay it didn't bother us though.

The log burner was such a treat. Really relaxing, next time we'll stay for two nights.
