The Tool Shed

The location was idyllic, the accommodation was great, so spacious. Hosts were wonderful, really made are stay a home from home.

There is absolutely nothing to dislike here.

The most beautiful stay we’ve had on booking.com. The grounds are stunning and the hosts were incredibly helpful.

Our hosts could not have been kinder or more helpful. Our car broke down (after our arrival) and the son of the hosts kindly took my husband to the pub where we had booked a table for our evening meal, in order to collect a take away for us. The tool shed is a haven of quiet and natural beauty and birdsong, but no shops anywhere close, so his help was invaluable. The AA had to take our car away the next day, and again our hosts could not have been kinder. We had gone to Dorset for a wedding, and friends picked us up, so we could be on time, leaving our car on the property, entrusting it to our hosts to handover. In addition we forgot our charger, and they kindly posted it to us. Basic breakfast essentials are provided, including a coffee cafetière, ground coffee, milk and supermarket bread. The tool shed is very spacious and comfortable. The hosts who live next door have a very friendly and lovely dog who came to visit us.

Being sensitive to chemical smells, we hid all the air fresheners upon arrival, and aired the space with open doors and windows! The wood burning stove was difficult to light, it needed intermediate wood to get it going!

The breakfast was very basic and I bought my own. One ring cooker was very basic and didn't use it. Difficult to work the T.V.

Stunning accommodation, as good if not better than anywhere we've stayed before. Felt relaxed and at home immediately, the quality of the fixtures and furnishings is very, very good. A beautiful location, idyllic, peaceful and a wonderful place to unwind.

Only had an overnight stay, not long enough, genuinely the only downside.

We loved our stay at The Tool Shed. The location was so beautiful and remote; just what we needed! The communication was brilliant, especially as we needed a late night check-in after our wedding. We were greeted with a lovely bottle of bubbly on arrival and a yummy breakfast. The accommodation was so comfy and welcoming, a real home comforts vibe. Looking out of The Tool Shed were endless fields, and luckily for us, lots of sunshine! The owners have the loveliest dog who we enjoyed playing with, too! We hope to visit again someday.

It was such a beautiful location in the countryside - quiet and peaceful with beautiful views. So restful and the hosts were lovely.
