The best sea view in Madeira - Casa Farol

The accommodation was spacious and generally well equipped. There was a lovely outside space where one could relax. Apart from the occasional barking dog at night, it was a quiet area. Host (Orlando) made contact to welcome us but we could only reply via Booking.com, not direct.

Unfortunately, during our stay there was a crane immediately in front of the building which somewhat spoilt the sea view. Once the building is complete it will hopefully not be a problem. Wasn't sure what to expect in the area but it was soon obvious that you need to have access to a car. It would have been nice to have had a restaurant / bar within walking distance of the accommodation. Can recommend the Sunshine bar and restaurant which is 10 -15 mins drive. Best to book.

This is a great property in an amazing location, the views as the sun sets were truly incredible! Orlando was a very helpful host and gave us some great tips on what to do locally. We were also taken aback with how quiet it was, really peaceful at night with great view of the stars.

Unfortunately there is some building work happening in front of the property, this meant that there was a crane partially blocking the incredible view that you get from the garden. Although the kitchen is well stocked for pots and pans, there was a lack of basic ingredients (e.g. we had to buy salt, oil, coffee etc.)

This is definitely one of the best accommodations I stayed in. It's a spacious house with a gorgeous view of the cliffs and the ocean. It had everything we needed and more. We saw beautiful sunsets and so many stars and the milky way from the beautiful garden. The host is excellent. Quick to respond and help. It has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms and a washing machine. Easy to reach and excellent located to discover south, west and north Madeira. It's so quiet. Lots of restaurants within a 15 minute drive.

The WIFI didn't work all the time. The parking space can only be used by small cars. We parked the car on the street, where there isn't a lot of traffic. A new house is being built in front of it. This causes some noise pollution during the week, but this is only temporary.

I recently stayed at this beautiful house and had an amazing experience. The house is very spacious and perfectly decorated. It has been freshly painted and is equipped with everything you might need. The highlight of my stay was the incredible view of the cliffs and the sunset. I highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a relaxing and picturesque getaway.

Amazing villa with perfect view, great facilities looking super luxury. Not complicated to get to from main road.

The house is located in the best possible spot on the island, 400-500 m above sea level and facing west, so we could celebrate great sunsets every evening
