Beautiful property that allowed myself and my family to feel a little ‘local’ as opposed to spending the rest of our holiday in hotels. It’s always nice to stay in a home away from home as it makes you feel much more comfortable.

Not a dislike, but for those driving to the property be aware that the surrounding roads are quite narrow so guiding a large van around may make you uncomfortable if you are not a confident driver. Of course, the flipside to this is that because it’s on narrow roads it’s also very private and quite around the house which is lovely.

Fantastic property! Very clean, great coffee provided for each morning, and easy walk to the lake. Also unobstructed view lf Mt Fuji!

Wonderful stay! We are a family of four and it was great - loved that there were lots of bath towels and bathroom amenities. View was wonderful and it was easy to access. We didn’t have a car but were able to call Ubers very easily to get around. The host was great- brought us some fruit on our arrival and took us back to the train station.

Beds are firm- but I think all beds in Japan are and shades are not blockout- which we also encountered at another place- a plane eye mask is an easy fix.

Our group of seven stayed here for a running event, and the house was perfect for us. It has three twin bedrooms plus one tatami room and two bathrooms, which suited our needs just right. Several rooms and the living room offer a view of Mount Fuji — the scenery was absolutely stunning. The kitchen was fully equipped, and there were enough tableware for all seven of us. The host also prepared welcome snacks and wine for our arrival. Most importantly, the night before the race, the host kindly came to check on us. When they found out we planned to walk to the starting point, they offered to drive us there despite the sleet and rain. We were truly grateful for their help. The host communicated effortlessly in English and replied promptly to all our messages. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable and memorable!

It gets dark quite early in the evening, and it's about a 15-20 minute walk to the nearest bus stop. highly recommend this place for those with a rental car or pre-arranged transportation.

ワンボックスのロングの車でしたので 近辺の道が狭く、少しわかりにくかったです。

Overall, the place is okay — more spacious than expected, which is a plus. The location is good and convenient, easy to get around.

That said, a few downsides: Blackout curtains don’t block light well, so mornings come early whether you like it or not. Quite dusty inside the house, which takes away from the comfort. The bed isn’t very comfortable, especially if you’re sensitive about sleep quality. I think it's overpriced during the high seasons.
