The Sanctuary

This house was great for our group of 7, including 3 kids, planning to explore and spend time mostly in Noosa for a few days. We enjoyed the ferry rides too ($15 each way) which even gave us the option to dine in Noosa with the last ones travelling around 10pm. The North Shore beach is just a 3 minute drive away and there seems to be plenty to do even if you just stay on the North side. The pool at the leisure centre is a great place to unwind after a long day of exploring, only a short 2 minute walk from the house.

It wasn't entirely clear to me from the description that this is a gated community with a shared leisure centre that offers a pool - the pictures made it look like the pool is at the house. It all makes sense now, and we loved every minute we spent here.

The house was beautiful! Better than the pictures. Perfect for my group of 9. Rooms were huge and the area was beautiful. Even when it stormed, the pool and leisure centre were lovely. My whole group praised the house and location and it could not have been a better holiday. Rod was also very helpful and responsive to all my questions.

We recently stayed at The Sanctuary Noosa North Shore and had an incredible time. The facilities were fantastic, with great attention given to the layout, making it perfect for larger groups or families. The house was immaculately clean, and the bedding and furniture were very comfortable, with plenty of seating for everyone. Check-in was a breeze, thanks to the excellent communication from the hosts, which continued throughout our stay. The property’s tennis courts and pool were an unexpected highlight—quiet and relaxing, especially given the time of year. While the beach was just a short drive away, the nearby pub was also very convenient to reach. We absolutely loved the visits from local wildlife, including goannas, bush turkeys, and kookaburras, which added to the serene atmosphere. Overall, the stay was incredibly relaxing, and we wouldn’t hesitate to come back. Highly recommended!

There is a 30 sec to 1 minute delay when turning on the water from all taps. I feel that the water pump attached to the tanks may need checking. You can hear it working but with no water coming out. Or there may be a small leak somewhere in the pipes causing a vaccum leak.

Beautiful house to stay with a great layout for a family/group. Host was friendly to deal with and property had lots of lovely touches for a comfortable stay.
