Villa Waru

Great location

We had originally booked 4 nights. The morning of our departure from Ubud to Villa Waru, we were informed that the boats weren’t crossing due to bad weather. We had to hurry to find another accommodation for the night and hope that boats would cross the next day. We eventually made it and spent 3 lovely nights, but we were charged for 4 nights. This issue with the boat was never brought up as a possibility. We spoke to the main point of contact who said to talk to the manager. We spoke with the owner who said to speak with the manager. We FINALLY spoke to the manager over the phone but only once we were in our way to the airport. (He was supposed to be at Villa Waru to discuss before we left for the boat.) We requested a refund for the one night. I just received a message that since we left the property the issue is done.

Since before we arrive, Moko arrange everything from pick up at the airport to the harbour and the boat till we arrive at the villa. He is been very helpful. When we arrive, Gede welcoming us with his smile and welcoming drinks. Gede is always helping us above and beyond. He is a gem, they are lucky to have an employee like him. He is assisting us with everything we need and we can’t thank him enough. Thank you for mbak Kadek and Niluh for your assistance. Thank you so much Villa Waru and the team for making our holiday unforgettable and amazing !!! I’ll see you on the next holiday guys. Best regards, Fazni and family

Beautiful venue with amazing views, the host is extremely helpful. He arranged motor bikes for the boys and a golf buggy tour around the island for us. Breakfast magnificent.

Rooms were a little old but still comfortable and clean

The stay at Villa Waru was amazing. Staff were so helpful, especially Gede. Amazing breakfast, amazing location, amazing villa overall. Would recommend.

location is amazing, the view over the ocean is magic. lovely staff, Gede was really helpful in answering questions and sourcing things for us.

the cliff front fence could be a lot sturdier, we worried a bit about the kids getting too close.

amazing view! the villa is great, spacious, clean and well located! I’d recommend renting a scooter to explore this great island. the view and the access to the beach is everything! plus you can see the sunset and easily walk to plenty of beach bars and to the devils tear. the breakfast were delicious, especially the banana pancakes. the staff are dedicated to make your stay the most comfortable possible.
