Villa Costanza

Villa Costanza is in the amazing area. It is on the hill so you can have amazing view of the sea, not only from the terrace but also from the balcony of your rooms. When visibility is good, Palermo can also be seen in the distance. and at the same time you can also see a big rocky mountain very close. It is a really charming place you are in nature and it is quiet. One of the most beautiful beaches of Sicily San Vito Lo Capo is only 5 min by car from this villa. We really enjoyed it and definitely want to come back again. Maria is very friendly and helpful the house has a big terrace, living and dining room and the kitchen has all the necessary things. it was hard to leave such a beautiful place I think it was probably the most beautiful place I have ever visited by the sea.

The view is like heaven

Not good hot water

Furniture seemed nice, however the accommodation could not be used due to electricity problem in the house's installation, no water supply and a missing window glass.

Water supply was not working when we arrived. The owner promised to fix it but didn't do it. Electric system within the house was not working. When we switched off some of the power breakers, some of the lights in the house came on. Electrician arrived to examine the issue, said he did not know what was wrong with electricity circuits inside the house, that the water pump needed replacing anyway and then left. One of the windows at ground level had no glass in it, only a moskito net. As a consequence, it was too cold to stay at the property. It would also be a security risk. As a consequence of the lack of water, lack of electric power and cold temperature, we could not stay in this property. After frustrating attempts to get help, we had to find and pay another place on our own. The owner did not deliver the service, got unpleasant in the communications, and refused to return the money. At the time of writing this review, there is an open dispute via Booking.com. Edit in reaction to the owner's response below: - It is not true that the issues were outside the owner's control. It is only the owner's responsibility to maintain the accommodation so that it can be used. - It is not true that the issues were fixed the following day. I did check on day 3 - that is 2 days after the issues were reported. The issues were still same as upon original arrival: no water, broken internal electricity circuits, a window glass on ground floor missing. I have recorded evidence of it. - I had offered to settle the case by a cancelation with full refund and just forget about it, despite the additional expense of the replacement accommodation. However, the property owner did not agree with such settlement. They offered a refund of one third of the price outside visibility of Booking.com.
