Villa Amanecer

The villa is in an ideal location for us, a 10 minute walk to Matagorda and a 20-25 -minute walk to the strip in PDC. Just 5 mins to the beach and local Spar. We loved the outdoor space. Downstairs, the pool area has everything you need. The pool itself was clean (and cleaned once during our 10-day stay). The sunloungers are comfortable, ideal for just chilling out. There are 3 altogether, 2 downstairs and 1 upstairs. There is a separate toilet at the pool area, with a shower and where the washing machine is. The terrace upstairs has a lovely seating area and an amazing view of the sea. The outside space is very private. Towels to use in the outside were provided. The kitchen is well equipped. The fridge has a 3 shelf freezer part, which was really useful. The TV in the open plan area upstairs was easy to use. The sofa was comfy and looked new. If more than 2 people were staying in the villa, another chair would be beneficial. The area upstairs is spacious and very welcoming. The toilet upstairs looks newly done out. The bedrooms had lots of storage, with sliding double wardrobes and drawers in both rooms. Plug sockets near the beds (if staying in the 2nd bedroom, I would bring an adaptor as there is only one, so I couldn't use the lamp if I was charging something). There were more than enough plug sockets in the rooms for us. The beds are a little on the hard side but were perfectly adequate for us. One of the single beds was too hard and very squeaky to use, but fortunately, we didn't need it. The windows have shutters, which was lovely on a night. You can safely leave the window open and feel the breeze coming through. There is air conditioning in both bedrooms. There is a lovely bathroom downstairs, with a bath, and the shower was powerful enough and easy to use. The area is quiet and very convenient for getting around. Communication was good, Elizabeth was very helpful.

As others have said, a small fridge in the utility room downstairs would be useful, it was a bit of a pain having to go upstairs every time we needed a cool drink whilst at the pool area. A safe would also be a bonus.

Gorgeous - fab layout. Spotlessly clean. Host great. Nice extra touches milk, teabags, water and juice as a welcome. Pool inflatables, towels etc. very homely without fuss.

The villa was spacious,very clean and very well equipped. Had everything to make our holiday a wonderful experience.

The property is nice but the pool is small, more of a plunge pool...if thats all you want its ok!

The agent for the owner sent messages about doing checkin but didn't! My previous visit to Lanzarote I stayed in a property that was similar style but without a private pool but considerably cheaper. I put some recycling in a bag to be brought to the bins and there were little black bugs in the bag on arrival to the bins. For the price a little disappointed with the experience

The villa was in a very good location .The top Terrace has exceptional views and the private garden had multiple comfortable sitting areas .The private swimming pool was lovely to cool off in .We did not use the outside BBQ but it’s a great option .
