"A wonderful place to stay"

Beautiful peaceful location with view of birds including kingfishers right next to the lodge. Good beach for swimming close by. Well looked after by Shanmugam and Sasikala. Her cooking, especially fish is amazing. Wonderful boat trip with Shanmugam on the river to see even more birds and the locals at work. The owner took us to see a Thayyam event in the evening and at 4.30 the next morning which was an unforgettable experience. We were even invited to a big wedding at a house close by. A holiday to treasure.

"Wonderfull"

So good and peaceful environment ! Shamu and his wife were very Nice with us a wonderfull place with wonderfull people 🙏 Shamu is a prawns fisher and you can go with him at the market in the morning and make a little boat trip in the backwaters The food was so nice too

I loved it here! If you want to go deep into Kerala - authentic Kerala - come here! Beautiful natural setting right by the beach, river and in a small, friendly village. Comfortable room. Delicious food!! And the owners help you with excursions and logistics. He found me a Theyam festival which was wonderful.
