Beautiful scenery spacious villa for all the family

Paola and her family were so kind and helpful. Never intrusive but always available if we needed anything. We loved the fact that the pool was available so early in the season, even if it was cold it was bliss to be able to dip! The view from the garden is absolutely beautiful in the evenings- we loved eating on the terrace with it behind us. The beds were super comfortable and the gorgeous kitchen was a joy to cook in- so well appointed with everything you could think of to use if we wanted to. We also loved the house’s location in Formia, which meant we could jump on a train to lots of places in Italy.

I can’t think that anything needs improving or was lacking. I suppose one thing to note is that it’s a short way up quite a hill so you might want a car or a taxi to get up the hill, although it’s also walkable on a paved path! Taxis were generally really easy to find at the station and only took five minutes, but one or two needed a bit of direction- Paola couldn’t have been more helpful with that though!

Vi har haft en fanatisk vistelse hos Paola som var väldigt trevlig och hjälpsam. Huset är högt beläget och har en vidunderlig utsikt över Gaeta och Formia. Huset är välutrustat med stort kök, stora trevliga sällskapsytor både inne och ute. Poolområdet var väldigt fint med möjlighet till både sol och skugga under olivträden. Vår familj med 8 vuxna, en 9 månaders bebis och två hundar hade en underbar tid hos Paola. Vi kan verkligen rekommendera detta ställe. Tack, Paola 😊

Il Casale is a beautiful home, high up in the hills above Formia. The views are every bit as astounding as they appear in the photos. Paola is extremely welcoming and very helpful. You feel like you are staying in someone's home, very comfortable and relaxing.

We would recommend you to have a car. You can walk up and down to Formia but it is very steep and you wouldn't want to do it carrying shopping.

The location is very convenient and an excellent base to explore the lovely area. The views are breathtaking, with comfortable accommodation and a lovely pool to cool down. Shops, bars and restaurants are close by. A car is recommended to get around. Paola was the perfect host, always available for information and advice.
