Mookanda bungalow

Great bungalow with a great view. The owners are really nice and the bungalow is very comfortable. The ac works great, breakfast is really good.. Nice location. Book this!

We loved our bungalow! It is so cute and comfortable and we enjoyed chilling on the balcony with a great view! The owner was also super friendly and the breakfast varied daily! So delicious. Thank you again! We rented a scooter and explored the island from our stay! We really recommend Mookanda and would definitely come back! :)

Mosquito-net was a bit too small for the bed

I felt very welcomed , Ya and papa were very sweet and kind , they made lovely breakfasts and delivered it to my bungalow each morning . There is a laundry a massage place , 2 restaurants and a bottle shop right out the front in the street which was very convenient and renting a scooter was easy , Ya the host took care of everything. .

You will need lots of insect repellent as there are a few mosquitoes around as to be expected in nature . Bed was quite hard but I haven't slept in one in Thailand that isn't . Other than that everything was great .

You get what you pay for. The owners and everyone around are incredibly helpful and kind. We got everything we needed except the hair dryer, but that was fine considering how hot it was in the island. Breakfast was so good, home made sticky rice with fresh mango and fresh sandwiches. There is coffee in the room and a little coach. We needed a motorbike and they brought it to us right away in minutes since we asked. We asked for helmets and they brought them right away. We experienced 2 different type of bungalows and both were very well equipped and comfortable for the price we paid, with beautiful view to the beach and nature. One of them had even a mosquito net for the bed.

We were impressed about the amount of lizards (and lizard poop) everywhere in the room. But it did not bother us at all. That is the price of being in the middle of the nature, you have to adapt. But you must know this is the case. Also the shower is right on top of the toilet and all floor will get wet, but it was totally fine for us and it never bothered us. For us it was the best way to get a real Thai experience.

Love this place, I think the surrounding was perfect and really cosy, the bungalows are nice and the bed comfortable. And the staff is really friendly, really recommend

It's a decent place for not a lot of money

The bathroom floor was filthy when I arrived but the rest of the house was clean. There were also ants in the bathroom but I use some bug spray in the house and it seemed to take care of them. The air conditioner was noisy when it changed temperatures.
