Secret Villa - Unique Experience

Beautiful Villa ! Professional Staff, service on Top, I highly recommend Alberto was very reactive to our needs and brought us nice bikes and recommend the best places in Siargao

We had such a great time at Secret Villa! We were sad to leave but have some great memories. Alberto is the best and will you give you tips for the island and does more and beyond. We were happy that we booked this villa!

Well Siargao is a special place, but if you have the opportunity the stay in that villa, you time here will amazing days and experience, We rented the villa with some friends and for me it was the best day I was in Siargao, being in the middle of a rice field, with the awesome sunset, the carabaos walk around the villa. And the house not a details missing, the rooms super big, the bed really comfortable, the living room…is a dream house. Thank you Alberto for make our time in you villa easy and pleasant

The location is very secluded, which is both good and bad thing.

The caretaker Eva and her son were very nice and polite. The place looks picturesque

1. Dirty toilet with black molds. 2. Bugs on the bed 3. Location is very hazardous, its a beaten path with rusty metal everywhere. Not ideal for people who have a hard time walking like kids, senior, or person with disabilities. Location is also very far from the beach definitely not a 13 min walk. Snakes on the pathway. Cannot be accessed by car or by motorcycle. 4. Internet was sooooo bad. Out of our 6 day stay, 3 straight days no internet. 5. No door on one toilet connected to the room. So if someone poops even the room would smell. 6. Stray cats and goats get in the property. 7. Frogs everywhere, one time even on the pool. Anyway its for you to experience yourself.

Alberto, our host, was super nice. Briefed us in and out. Brought all our luggages by scooter (motorcycle) when we got there and as we leave. Even let us check-in early and check-out late for free! Amazing secret spot in the middle of fields and goats and all that rustic feel. Pool water was warm despite the frequent rains. No heater but shower had warm water. Best of all is Eva, who I thought was the overall caretaker of the property, but felt like she was part of our family. Whatever it is, she has a solution for it. Even got us pandesal / pan de surf / pan de coco!

Some of the towels are a bit run down and I ended up showering again from all the white bits that came off and stuck to my skin and hair. Also, there wasn't a door to the bathroom in one of the rooms, and the bathroom did not have an exhaust.. so..... Additionally, while I love the rustic feel, I wasn't too happy with the flooded street that the path leads to. There was a lot of construction in the area, so not really their fault. Plus the random (minor) rainfall didn't really help. Lastly, the bugs! I am fascinated by them, but I don't like just how much bug dong we had to deal with. Comes with the remote area so come prepared with bug repellant lotion.
