Challet Miradouro do Vale

The Challet was well organized, and a fire was lit to be ready for our arrival.

It was difficult to find, but the hosts were wonderful to help us.

We had a wonderful stay here. The location is perfect — very close to Donabesia and Terra Nostra, which makes it ideal for exploring the area. The atmosphere is peaceful and relaxing, with a really nice vibe overall. In the morning, you can hear the birds singing, and there’s a beautiful view over the large garden filled with camellias on the property. It feels very special and tranquil. Everything was great — the beds are comfortable, and the place is well heated, which made our stay even more cozy. We would definitely stay here again!

Gostámos muito da localização, da vista, da lareira, do jardim. Gostámos do ambiente acolhedor, da D. Cláudia que nos recebeu, do pão que o padeiro nos deixou à porta. O principal receio era a humidade, característica da zona, mas a configuração da casa e a lareira resolveram. Tivemos a vantagem de ter entre nós uma escuteira perita em acender fogueiras:) Foram uns dias magníficos, não só pela beleza natural da ilha como pelas comodidades do Challet Miradouro do Vale. Voltaremos, seguramente e recomendaremos aos nossos amigos

Great views of Furnas, parking, a little out of the town but had fantastic views. Owner was very very nice and welcoming. Loves hearing the birds and how quiet it was.

The location and the view was absolutely amazing. You can wake up looking at the sunrise above Furnas valley. The house is spacious, full of light and has everything you may need. the host was so kind to help us collecting our online order from supermarket and all communication went smooth and nice. We'd stay here again with pleasure

The location was amazing and the agent was great and helpful. The property was clean.

The price setup was not right, the owner wanted to charge for 4 people while we were 3 because his price was setup for 2 and 4 occupancy. The heating system was not adequate for such a large property, the fireplace is in the living room with pipes installed in all rooms, but very minimum heat reached the rooms. There was no shampoo in the shower, and the bedmattresses were very uncomfortable..

We would like to share our honest feelings about our stay. We travel very often, and we believe it is important that both future guests and the hosts pay attention to this feedback, because the house is truly very good and has great potential, but there are some points that really need improvement, as they can slightly affect the overall experience. First of all, we were welcomed very warmly. Everything was shown and explained to us, and every morning we were brought fresh bread, which was a very nice touch. The host always replied quickly, and thanks to him we found a place with the freshest cow’s milk (which was ordered specially for us), as well as a shop with fresh meat. We are truly grateful for that. The house itself is very beautiful and well equipped — it has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. However, there were a few things that disappointed us. On the third day, the roof in the small bedroom started leaking, which caused inconvenience and definitely needs to be fixed. We understand that the house is located in Furnas, where humidity is quite high, but installing air conditioners would really improve comfort, as the fireplace alone was not enough to properly heat the house. Unfortunately, we sometimes had to go to bed in a damp bed. If you look closely, you can also notice that the cleaning was not done thoroughly. In the bedrooms, we found a lot of dust and dirt on the lamps and around the beds. In the kitchen, some dishes were not properly washed, and the extractor hood was greasy. These are basic things that should always be in order for any guest. Overall, our stay was very pleasant, and we sincerely wish the hosts to be a bit more attentive to these details, as we see great potential in this place. We would be happy to return in the future if we know these issues have been resolved. Thank you very much, and we wish you all the best.

Great location, spectacular view!

Gute Lage , schöner Ausblick, Parkplatz, Thermalbad in der Nähe. Flasche Wein, örtliches Brot und Frischkäse als Willkommensgeschenk. Kostenlose Brötchen morgens.

Wir hatten starken Regen und das Dach war undicht im Wohnzimmer. Abflussgeruch im innenliegenden Bad.
