The location was wonderful. The views of the town and mountains were stunning. You can walk to town easily if you can handle hills well. There is a small local coffee shop on corner and market nearby. The homeowner happened to be around on property while we were there due to some minor repairs. While he is not typically there, his presence greatly enhanced our experience and connect to the space.

It's a beautiful house, comfortable, spacious, clean and full of light! Stunning view and location. Elisabete was a very friendly and helpful owner. The awesome thermal baths of Dona Queija are in 3 min. walking distance! Don't miss the chance to wake up before dawn and listen to the birds singing!

The humidity. Our towels and wet clothes would never dry and the smell was strong if you left the windows closed. But I guess there's nothing one can do, it is a location with high humidity.

The views are spectacular, the house is bigger than it appears in the photos, the kitchen is very well set up for cooking meals, the hot springs are just at the end of the road and the village centre is a very short walk. Our host was very friendly and left us some local bread for our first mornings breakfast.

The hill to get in was a bit steep but well worth the climb.

Perfect location in furnas close to the thermal pools, amazing view and a beautiful home to stay in!

Location! Location! Location! A beautiful view from all the rooms, a wonderful terrace just outside the kitchen, and greenery all around.
