Great location and facilities were excellent

Nothing really was all good

Spacious, lovely garden, bright and airy in the living space and upstairs.

The properly leaked and flooded constantly, both in the living space and upstairs. No support was provided except extra towels so we spent a lot of time mopping / drying and living in a very damp space. Constant dripping was annoying through the night too. There’s evidence of water damage in a lot of areas - so it’s obvious this isn’t the first time this has happened but the excuse was ‘it never rains’. Constant smell of sulphur in the kitchen. No gas leak but on investigation, the boiler pipe isn’t connected properly so harmful gases are constantly being let out into the accommodation. This is against basic regulations. We could only manage by windows being open the entire time and only showering/ using hot water before leaving property - not ideal as it was cold and wet. Property owner did carry out a gas inspection but was entirely uninterested after that. Downstairs bedrooms/bathroom - dark with really poor lighting and damp. Black mould on curtains/blinds. Heat pump in living room needs attention. It has a horrid smell once on for 10+ minutes. Absolutely didn’t meet the standards of safe and dry accommodation. From day 3 of 13, we were in contact with property owner, who only offered 1 night refund. When we complained through Booking.com, they deemed the property completely inappropriate. They then informed me that despite negotiating with the property owner, she refused to offer anything more and it’s against their policy to refund without owner consent. All in all, a horrible experience for our family holiday.

Great location. Lovely space downstairs. One little problem we had was sorted. Even on a Sunday.

Garden is small but usable. Tv is small but only watched in the evening for sport.

Very ! tired - attention to detail required i.e. toilet seat needed repairing in top bedroom - Shower curtain on groundfloor needed replacing and a hole in Bath ! . 3rd bedroom - light hanging off wall - curtains non existent - shutters temperamental. All pillows uncomfortable !! Kitchen - need to be 6’ tall to use microwave otherwise dangerous. Property smelt damp It was a reasonable stay as 75% of time out of the accom site seeing - great location Could be an amazing rental if updated and tidied up and some tlc administered 3 girls

Very comfortable and big space, everything you need

Very clean, good location, parking lot, big amount of space, 2 bathrooms

Location is great and house is very nice, especially the backyard. Anabel was also an amazing host and helpful in every way. The rooms had great blinds to keep the light away and there was no noise. The kitchen was functional and the barbecue a nice addition.

We had some problems with a clogged sink and the upstairs blinds were not working properly. However, Anabel was quick to fix these as soon as possible. The floors were also a bit dirty, especially upstairs as our feet got black when walking barefoot. Overall, the house would need some renovation, especially in regards to the bathrooms.
