A lovely traditional house with a beautiful garden and plenty of space for a family. Great location on a quiet street in walking distance to sights and restaurants.

Beautiful traditional home in a wonderful location close to Omichi market and the train station. The bathtub can fit 2 and their is a large fridge. The futons are high quality and comfortable and there is a toilet both upstairs and downstairs which is a plus. The garden is beautiful and the neighbourhood is quiet. Easy to walk to restaurants, bars, and to sightseeing in beautiful Kanazawa. Or and property manager is wonderful...kind and helpful. Highly recommend!

Such a charming traditional stay with good amount of space and good facilities, it has been modernised to suit guests. The location was convenient to the sights. Heating was excellent on the cold nights we stayed. Bathroom was fabulous.

Tall people beware, it's a traditional house, so you may find yourself bending down everything you go through a doorway.

Beautiful property in a great location. We were picked up from the station in person which was great. The house was spotless and very authentic in a great location to walk everywhere.

Beautiful house with enough room for a family to be comfortable. We stayed in Winter and it was cold and wet but the house was quick to warm. Location was excellent. We could have walked to most places but because of the rain, we bought a loop bus day pass from the nearby square hotel. Bus stop is just next to the market.

It was as expected

This is an extremely beautiful machiya. The rooms, the bathroom and the kitchen were very well equipped and decorated. The machiya is also located in a walking distance from the train station and the most popular tourist points of interest (e.g. the castle, Kenrokuen, Oumichou Market etc.). This was an ideal stay, I have nothing to point out :)

This beautiful traditional house has gone above and beyond our expectations, becoming one of the highlights of our trip. It was very spacious, and the well thought out decorations made the space feel very relaxing. Would without a doubt come back here again and recommend it to anyone else!

Communication from the agent managing the property could have been more clear. We were lead to believe that we needed to collect the key at a specific time, but at the end we were given self check-in instructions over a message. If we knew this in advance, we would have planned our day differently.

Lovely traditional interior which was clean and spacious! Honestly looked like it could be a restaurant with the nice decor. Futon beds were comfy, and free parking right next door was convenient!

Just beware of narrow streets when parking - we had a big 8 seater and struggled quite a bit, and that there are stairs up to the bedrooms if you have limited mobility

Perfect location, close to the train station and to the main attractions of the city. The house is very nice and confortable.
