We actually stayed three nights at Musashi Sakaean, and very glad we booked it for another day early. We loved the beautiful and traditional interior of the property, but also appreciated that the kitchen had modern amenities. We also loved the beautiful garden that you can go out to or enjoy from the living room. The property is excellently located. We enjoyed the local restaurants and bakery nearby. If time allowed, we definitely would have stayed longer.

Because of our arrival time (past 5pm), we were not able to avail of the pick-up service from Kanazawa Station. While the check-in videos were helpful, it would have been nice if the pick-up service was extended to a later time, especially during "commute hours." We would have felt more welcomed. Also, it would have been nice to have more towel bars/hooks to hang your damp towels on in the laundry/bath area.

"Very happy with the choice of accommodation. Kanazawa had a lot more to offer than I expected."

Location is perfect for all of the key locations in Kanazawa and is also within walking distance of the train station.. House is beautifully restored and the garden is serene.

Bedroom air-con never cooled the room sufficiently until very late at night.
