HummingBird Hill Cottage

The location was amazing. Surrounded with full of tea farms. One thing I didn’t like is 3% additional amount on total bill and this was not highlighted by booking.com while booking the venue. This charged additional amount than I budgeted.

Excellent service and the living room setting is excellent. The staff were very courteous and location was decent.

The rooms were little cramped but cosy and comfortable.

Very safe location, well maintained and well taken care of. The food provided was good and plenty and was easy to communicate with the staff. The rooms were neat and clean and comfortable

Additional fees were needed to use the stove separately and all groceries had to be provided by us which was a little challenging if you’re not from the area and the shops are out of the way a little.

Raja and Robert were absolutely amazing. Their service was impeccable and the hotel room was very comfortable. The place was very safe and they were looking after us really well. Hotel was very clean including all bathrooms and absolutely affordable. All amenities were available too and they were available at all times. Breakfast was also very nice. 100% recommend this to everyone.

The view was ok but it did not correspond to the pictures.

Overall, the house was dirty, specially the bathrooms. The living areas were poorly cleaned and much smaller than expected based on the pictures. Windows do not close properly. Lack of towels, soap, shower gel and toilet paper….

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this luxurious cottage in Nuwara Eliya and I must say, it was truly a remarkable experience. The cottage boasts 4 beautifully decorated rooms, each with its own attached bathroom complete with heaters and hot water. The wood flooring adds a touch of elegance to the space, while the 55 inch flat screen TVs with Peo TV connection in every room provided endless entertainment options. One of the things that stood out to me the most was how warm and inviting the cottage felt. The staff were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure that my stay was comfortable and enjoyable. The tasty breakfast served each morning was a delightful start to the day and really added to the overall experience. Overall, I can confidently say that this cottage is one of the best places I have ever stayed in Nuwara Eliya. The luxurious yet cozy atmosphere made me feel right at home and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a truly unforgettable stay in this beautiful destination.
