Fonte Santa Villa

It was better than the photos we viewed so above our expectations. There were enough eating and relaxing areas for the 4 couples. The basement area was perfect for the couple with a 1 year old baby as they were self contained. Each bedroom had its own bathroom. The off road parking was very useful as the road outside the property does get passing traffic.

The property is due an upgrade/ refurbishment in the kitchen and outdoor cooking area but in the meantime it’s fully functional. More walk in showers rather than showers over the bath would be another suggestion.

The facilities were excellent, especially the pool and outdoor space, gym and lower ground floor relaxation space with tv, bar and full size snooker table.

Our stay at Fonte Santa Villa was absolutely unreal. It catered for all ages, our party of 6 adults & 5 children 4-13 were all entertained! The house is absolutely beautiful and so spacious. It was spotless on our arrival and we had pool maintenance every few days & a full clean once a week. There are so many positives for this place. But one thing we found great that wasnt mentioned was the general security of the plot and gated patio areas, meaning we could keep our little ones away from the pool when needed & We felt safe and secure. It had many shady spots along with all day sunshine in the garden. It is a about a 20-25 min walk to the beach and the main area of quarteria, but Uber works well in the area and was around €5-€7 euros to get into town. LIDL across the road was certainly helpful and there are a few bars/resturants within the immediate area. Also the weekly (wednesday) clothes market very close by was lovely to have a nose round. Highly recommended tall, I didnt want to leave. Warning! This place WILL give you the holiday blues 💙 Also if your looking for a place to go for the cross over period between check out & a flight home - the tiramisu bar/paddle club, about 5 mins uber down the road was perfect, with a resturant open 8am-12am, huge outdoor pool, trampoline, park, garssed areas & sports facilities. You just cant go wrong!!

I would have loved some food weighing scales in the kitchen so I could measure out for ingredients whilst cooking. But I mean, that is me being extra extra picky. It by no means took away from our experience one slight bit.

Everything was great about the villa. Very clean. Pool was great.

Could do with better snooker cues and the pool was pretty dirty by the end of the week.
