Mig's Place is centrally located on Madeira, a 5-minute drive from the center. What is super nice is the private parking space at the house, which is easily accessible. The sitting area and TV were also fantastic! The swimming pool is probably great in the summer, but in December the water was too cold.

What we didn't like was the bed in the largest bedroom. I have rarely slept so badly in my life. The bed is way too soft and you lie in a hole. We tried bedroom 2; there the bed was a little better, but still not really comfortable. There was also a dog in the neighborhood that kept us awake at night with its barking. Furthermore, there was only an ocean view from the bedrooms and not from the living room or the pool/terrace, because there are buildings that block the view. That was a shame, because during this holiday we had only booked apartments with a sea view. Our preference was for Quinta Golfinho and Atlantis Country House, both near Calheta, both with superb ocean views and comfortable beds…

Everything was great. We really enjoyed our stay.

Miguel was a superb host! We had a very good time! At Calheta Beach you can get some very good food for a very fair price. But we had also some good snacks in the evening in the close by snackbar! They were super friendly to our kids.

On one or two nights the dogs from the neighborhood were barking which was a bit annoying, but it was just short time and all over the rest of our stay we slept very good.

Good connection to any point in Madeira. Quiet vicinity. A large space of the house and the amazing view on the ocean.

The host was very helpful with our late arrival. The house is easy to find. Location's great: some bars within walking distance, short drive to Calheta, relatively short and easy drive to the north. The house is very spacious, perfect for bigger families.

The house was a bit cold on couple of evenings, fortunately blankets were provided.
