Ella Jungle Inn Homestay And Tree House

We had a very niche staying! Madu is a very kind host. She helped us to organize our stay in Ella. The place is really beautiful, surrounded by nature.

Basic accommodation a little of the main Ella strip so quieter. Large comfortable bed. Good size bathroom with a warm shower unit and good pressure. Breakfast was good and varied and owner very helpful.

There really isn't anywhere to put your stuff in the room, basically living out of your suitcase. For 2 people the room would feel pretty cramped and cluttered with bags etc. The owner rents out a scooter which was great but told her I would be heading out early (5:30 am), she said she would leave key and helmet out on the table for me! Needless to say when I was looking for the key at 5:30 in the morning, it wasn't there, so had to quickly reorganize my morning plans, which wasn't helpful. There is a fridge outside the room I was allocated which you can use, however it is in desperate need to a clean inside. The inside is dirty and numerous small dead flies in it. I used it to store bottle water only, but it wouldn't take much for a weekly clean. The owner only accepts cash for room payment.

Empty fuel when renting scooters, it broke down before we arrived at the petrol station. Thin walls, bad soundproofing

Great location, beautiful view into the trees, we had our own entrance with a porch and chill area. There was a mosquito net a hairdryer and a fan. The host was nice, she also prepared us breakfast when we wanted to leave early and the other day also to go.

The room was separated from the kitchen with a very thin wall so you could hear everything. Sometimes there was noise late at night and also early in the morning. Also the room was a bit moist including the sheets and towels, but it might have been because of the rainy weather. But overall it was great and we really recommend staying there!

This place is great value for the money. Super breakfast, great location close to Ella center.
