Friendly staff.clean room and bathroom.comfortable beds.walking distance to train station and ella city.The homestay was located just 5 minute walk into the main part of ella.The host is very kind and she made us tea.We liked our room.its great place.we really enjoyed our stay

The location was really good as you just had 5 minutes to town.the room with bathroom is very clean.staff was very good.owener is very friendly. Delicious breakfast.very good place .hightly recommend this place.

Ohh it’s so lovely! Juste a little walk from the busy main street, we had our private room with a peacefull garden. The breakfast were made especially for us and were just delicious! Very kind and helpfull. In the night you see even fireflies overthere.

Very good breakfast and kind host. The house is situated in the jungle in a calm surrounding but walkable distance to the centre. The bus stop to Ravana waterfalls is near, you can walk to Adam’s Peak or to Ella Rock from here. We recommend this place!

We loved everything about this homestay. Firstly the price was so cheap! The owners and their family are such wonderful people. So kind with their warm friendly smiles and nothing was a problem for them. We extended our stay from 2 nights 5! Good breakfast and we ate dinner there all nights except 1. My son is a picky eater and she made pasta separate for him each night and made sure breakfast was suitable for him. She did a big bag of laundry for a really good price. My 3 year old son was so happy there...they have a cat and kittens which he was obsessed with! We will miss you all. They even organised a tuk tuk for us to Mirissa which was cheaper than price on Pick me.

The owners are friendly and tried to help us with problems we had.

First thing that happened when we arrived was leaking pipe. We waited while it was being repaired. it was fixed- so no problem. But what happened next, was something I have never experienced and didn’t know it might happen to a guest house with a good rating. The owners don’t know what a bed linen is. At all! There was no sheet to sleep on, and the blanket was a total mess (torn and dirty). The pillow cases were dirty with stains. We asked them to change it and they brought us some dirty sheet which was much shorter then the bed. We asked again, they brought another one, again dirty. We asked 3rd time, the owner went on bike somewhere to get another one. Instead of getting rest after a long journey we were wasting our time to teach owners what a bed sheet that is not dirty looks like. That was just ridiculous. And they acted like they don’t understand what the problem is. That was funny and sad at the same time. If you have clean and slippery shoes be aware that you will have to overcome some downhill dirty road to reach the place

The property was beautiful and easy to walk into the main area of Ella. The room was clean and tidy and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast from the host each morning. She also provided laundry service for us which was very helpful.
