The villas are stunning - beautifully laid out and very comfortable

We struggled to get places to eat in the evening. The hotel restaurant is only open Thursday to Sunday and only serves snacks. The staff tried hard to get us reservations in local restaurants but most were fully booked. If we had known this in advance we would have made sure we had reservations in place before arriving

We had a wonderfull stay at Mijora Beachfront. The view from the room was stunning! The bathroom is amazing. Room with kitchen has everything you need. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We enjoyed some time at the pool and visited a lot of different beaches. The island is not touristy which we liked a lot. Location is perfect.

We were bummed that the restaurant and bar were temporarily closed. Because it looked amazing to have diner or grab a drink there.

The hotel is beautiful, the design outstanding. The room was overlooking scenic beach. Waking up to the view of beach was priceless. Breakfast was delicious, one day it was traditional Japanese , the other it was a bit more Western. Location was a bit remote but it isn't a big problem if you have a car.

The restaurant was closed for lunch and dinner.

Stunning glass and concrete bungalow. Exterior greenery provides some privacy and there is direct access to the beach. This access is via steep steps without a handrail so not suitable for anyone unsteady on their feet.Comfy bed and lovely deep bath with a view of the beach. Good selection of crockery, cutlery and glasses. Nightgowns provided.

Booked through an English site but all communication from the hotel was in Japanese. Not a problem for us but would be for most people using this site. Site was not as secluded as suggested with a business right next door. Room photos show a microwave which wasn’t in the room. It also showed two loungers on the terrace which weren’t there. Sliding door only fastened at one point and was very loose. I could fit two fingers in the gap. It moved in the breeze. We were woken up around midnight as the wind kept banging the large and heavy door. Tried wedging it with paper but it didn’t work. Only managed two hours sleep so not the restful stay we had hoped for.

Stunning hotel - beautiful design, villa right on the water, helpful staff, excellent value for money. All in all, a magical stay - I would definitely come back and highly recommend this special experience
