"I cherished my stay at Villa Barbosa and found time to reflect and write which is what I desired."

Villa Barbosa is a beautiful old heritage villa converted into a homestay -it's quaint and quite in the Indo-Portuguese style of architecture. It's been renovated. I had a beautiful room with balcony overlooking a tiny road and I loved watching the sunrise from my balcony.It's a wonderful stay for any Business Traveler or even a Solo Traveler or a family.The host Reuben is extremely warm and friendly and makes you feel at home.I think any stay becomes more meaningful with the people who host you and in my case I was very well taken care of by Reuben.

I wish there were more restaurants and cafes in the area.The villa is atleast 2km from good restaurants.

Excellent stay with family. Rueben (Owner), went out of the way to ensure that our stay is comfortable. He discussed with me, our itinerary, and gave me logical suggestions to have a great stay in Goa. Rating to owner and property … nothing less than Excellent 😊

The host was a great guy. Easy to communicate with and quite friendly I couldn't have been happier with my stay there. The place is comfortable, very clean and close to everything. I can't think of any reason I wouldn't return. On that note, hopefully it's sooner than later. I came from Canada looking to enjoy Goa and find a safe, clean place to rest my head. This was certainly it. I look forward to returning.
