We loved the property which was set amongst beautiful, well kept gardens. The cottage is perfect for families, seniors or couples and has everything you might need for a comfortable stay. We were given excellent instructions on how to find it, and we slept well as it was so quiet. The town is a short drive away and has several restaurants (McLeods was excellent). The only reason I didn’t give a 10 rating is because of the dusty bookshelves and some spider webs. Otherwise, it was a perfect stay!

We were asked for extra money $40.00 a night for the second bedroom which is not mentioned on the website. We did not end up paying it. We booked a two bedroom villa and surprised.

It was close to Waipu, and we had booked at short notice (we were travelling for a funeral); we were able to find our way around
