The location was useful. The host was very available and helpful but also very discreet: only there when needed. The facilities were superb for self-catering with a very comprehensive range of appliances and utensils. And the garden setting was beautiful. Free EV charging is available at The Warehouse in Whangarei, a half hour journey away with an attractive riverside walk, intriguing Art Museum building (with an excellent cafe) and a deal more.

It was a lot more spacious than anticipated.

Not Nigel's fault that I forgot to mention that I am allergic to feathers. The lovely warm duvet was, I believe, down or feathers and possibly so were some pillows and cushions. My fault - I should have checked. I thought turning right out of the property onto SH1 might be difficult but we were lucky with the traffic.

A peaceful spot with very comfortable and clean facilities.

High rainfall in the area badly affected internet access which was a problem.

Very spacious tidy home with a great layout and space. Good bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Lovely Gardens in a rural setting. Easy walk or bike into Waipu town.

Little bit of road noise but it’s well off the road down a drive.

Absolutely adored the eclectic decor. The mid century furniture pieces, the art prints and knick knacks. The garden was stunning and provided a green canopy of calm and privacy. It was super close to Waipu and a great base for our surf comps.
