Yamaguchi House,Historic Private House with Open-Air Hot springs

Location was a little out of the way of main tourist part but that makes it more peaceful. We didn't mind cause we rented a car and it had a parking spot (kinda researched that before closing the deal). Both exterior and interior hot spring were awsome. Place was big wish we had more time to spend at the home but we were out and running most of the time but a wonderful place to rest at the end of the day.

Had a little misunderstanding of not getting the code to the main house is the beginning but received it later in the evening which worked out but a little stressed before that cause we were a party of Five.

This was a great size house with a great location. It is close to the train and the bus so it is easy to get around. It is not near too many food places, but it is a short bus ride to the Gora area. The bedrooms themselves are good sizes. All bedrooms have AC, but the rest of the house does not, so we were only able to use some of the rooms during our summer stay. There is also only one shower on the property. Unfortunately, there was an ant issue in the first floor bedroom. So, hopefully, that will be resolved.

The serenity. it was so peaceful and quiet. it was near the train station and made commuting very convenient. the personal chef experience was top notch. Chef Ryota san was very accommodating. thank you!

the house had a cigarette smoke/musty smell.
